Ayyyyyyyyyyyyy
GS in 6

I'll copy off your exam paper again. Curry's injury increases the Blazers' chances of taking a couple, but even without the MVP, I don't think the Warriors will run into any major roadblocks until the Conference Finals (and even then, maybe not).
Sat Apr 30, 2016 3:51 pm
indeed. It'll take another all star going down for Portland to have a real chance, but hey, stranger things have happened!
Sat Apr 30, 2016 3:56 pm
I also think the Warriors will take this but I predict they lose games 2 & 4 before advancing in 6

GSW in 5 with 4 of those thompson averaging 40+ ppg and 1 game where lillard and mccollum dominate at home.

Cant wait for Lillard vs Curry, but this is a sweep, sorry man

I am looking to forward to see how Mason Plumlee plays. LAC just had a knack for turning him into Draymond Green

If you look at Lillard's splits he played awfully against the Clippers in the regular season and the trend continued in the playoffs.
He put up godly numbers against the Warriors in the reg season so if you go by the same trend this should be a big series for him.

Obligatory Green gets away with bunch of KG screens.

Looks like we'll have at least two blowouts tonight.
Other than that Varejao playing a bit dirty and Lillard can prepare his $5000 check right now.
EDIT: Aaaaand two ejections. Varejao and Henderson.
EDIT2: Damn, Blazers aren't going down without a fight, but they just can't really break the 15 point deficit.

Off to a better start than OKC I guess...

Late prediction here but I thin GSW will get a sweep here. I expected 1 of 2 first series to be a sweep and since they didnt get one in 1st, here it comes now.
Lillard and cos are at least 1 superstar away from being a serious contender and they will feel it in this series. 2nd round though is impressive.

i dont think the warriors will want to sweep. the longer the series goes the better for them. if they and the spurs both sweep it could be a disaster for the warriors

If we're thinking about the same thing, Steph is going to be back in Game 3 or 4 anyway thanks to a huge 4-day rest. #rigged

Steph said in an interview during the Game 1 that he feels like he can play in Game 3. Which mean the medical staff and Kerr probably won't have him playing until Game 5 or 6 (or their dates, should the series end sooner).

The ghost of Brandon Roy will combine with Oden and the Blazers will sweep the rest of the series.
Wed May 04, 2016 3:13 pm
Blazers blew that one.

I really hope the Blazers dont end up overpaying McCllum. He is good but the Blazers need great.

I imagine McCollum's deal will be in the Klay Thompson is 16-18 mil range. About right for a guy who can make an all star team but only if the stars align just right.
To be honest, I agree though. This season has been fun, but unless Durant is forced to sign with Portland, it seems like the second round is the team's ceiling. Outside of the backcourt, the team consists of solid role players.
Thu May 05, 2016 3:13 am
At least you get to wait until next year to see how bad CJ will break the bank. 16-18per sounds a bit conservative though
Nothing wrong with a team maxing out as a 2nd round team. Especially coming off a rebuild. Not everyone can be like the Spurs
Thu May 05, 2016 8:37 am
They've more than exceeded expectations in year one of a rebuild, too.
Sun May 08, 2016 1:14 pm
If nothing else, the Blazers have avoided a sweep, and another meltdown.
Tue May 10, 2016 11:47 am
Curry's going to play. The end.

...of his career, when he rips a couple of ligaments in his knee because he returned too early?
In all seriousness though, it seems like an unnecessary risk.

Blazers put up a good fight though. Curry is too good. GS was toast without him this game.
