His block against LBJ was something too. Insane that he's only 19 yo. He can space the floor, defend, run pretty well. And he has no problem scoring at NBA level, great footwork and has sense of timing. Pacers got a steal.

BTW this year's rookie class is really deep and full of surprises.
Cameron Payne and Joseph Young are latest rookies that came to my attention. Payne I know will have a solid career, Joseph has good chance to survive in this league.

I've been watching a few Hornets games lately, and I gotta say I kinda like their commentating system. 3 man (and woman) booth, all very knowledgeable, not too much homerism, and they actually don't talk as much as most broadcasts... It's almost like NBA Live commentary where they go silent and you can just watch as if you were there.

I'll have to check out some Hornets games on League Pass. Aside from the Bulls' broadcast team - which obviously appeals to my bias - my favourite commentators are probably the Heat's team of Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino. They're remarkably unbiased for local commentators, and I like their style.

The worst commentators are probably the San Antonio Spurs' and Houston Rockets' teams, thanks to Sean Elliott and Clyde Drexler respectively. Just way too biased for the neutral observer.

I actually prefer listening to the home teams commentary as I find it refreshing.

To much Walt Clyde during Knicks games and it begins to sound like you have played 2k or Live for to long and the commentary is repeating itself.

I do like Mike Breen tho.

Boston wins hands down.

True. They have those two 90 yo commentators that sucks the life out of basketball.

Even though Heinsohn is biased towards the Celtics, the era he played in, and therefore also the Celtics he played for back in that era, I still find him entertaining. Perhaps it's his voice and delivery. Drexler isn't too bad in most respects, but he's definitely too biased. Elliott, however, is incredibly obnoxious on top of being biased. I don't dislike the Spurs or the way they play, but it has to be a national or visiting team broadcast for me to properly enjoy one of their games.

Throwback game for Kobe in the win over the Timberwolves. 38 points, five rebounds, five assists.

shed a manly tear when he hit the jumper to stretch the lead to 3.

But you gotta love that old man Bill Worrell. I like his commentary when Houston makes runs.

I have to admit he didn't make a strong impression on me either way. It's Drexler I find annoying there, albeit not to the same extent as Elliott with the Spurs' broadcasts.

In the wake of Kobe's vintage performance: Sam Mitchell has had enough of Kobe Bryant

Some big numbers so far today. Russell Westbrook has a triple double halfway through the third quarter against the Magic, Stephen Curry had 25 points in the first quarter against the Wizards and has 36 as of this post, as the second half is getting underway.

Russell is just a beast. He's not even fair, 6'6" ultra athletic PG that can do everything exceptionally well especially scoring and rebounding. Passing's got much better too. Have we ever seen this much athletic PG with great size before?

As for Curry, is he even a human? 51 pts tonight,

LBJ? I can't remember the last time when he posted insane number. He's done, no more the best player.

John Wall had 41 points and 10 assists and still wasn't the best player on the court. Curry is insanely good.

Great finish in the Thunder-Magic game. Durant with another game-winning three pointer (Y)

Westbrook had 24 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists - his third straight triple-double and eighth of the season. Even though he is averaging 24p/7r/10a this season he is still being overshadowed by Curry. What a crazy season.

And another triple double for Draymond Green, a franchise record tenth on the season.

Since Kobe turned back the clock this week, I guess Wade decided he would too.

Can't wait for the Curry-Westbrook matchup tomorrow.

They said the GSW-CLE and the SAS-GSW games were going to be exciting, grind-it-out games, I was lied to. I hope this game tomorrow will not disappoint.

Kevin Loving should just sit out games against the Celtics. :facepalm2:

The Cavs are once again losing. Looks like Blatt's firing did little. What's next?

Mark Price, head coach.

Here's hoping Warriors/Thunder lives up to the hype.
