It's a new week of NBA action, so if you want to discuss the games taking place from December 28th through January 3rd, here's a thread just for you!

LoL. That's disappointing. How did Lopez own Drummond down low so bad. Shaq would have eaten him alive.
As for the Heat, that's just horrible way to end the year. 2 straight losses now.

Warriors lost. Ofc Curry didn't play. Curry's making a case for MVP even when he's not playing.
I think this team would be undefeated if Barnes remained healthy with Curry for this one.

Are we living in paralell universe? Sixers won (played 3rd good game in a row) and Warriors lost (with double digits)!?
Thu Dec 31, 2015 7:46 pm
Many Warrior players were out for the game and the self-proclaimed best SG in the league went cold tonight. As for the Sixers they can be called the Pacific Division killers now watch out Golden State!

I ain't no warriors hater, but I would be more than excited to see Curry sit the next one against the Rockets. Not because I want to see the Warriors lose. If Curry skips the next game, it would literally be a Thompson vs. Harden.

Mondays, your sig uhhrg... Ask JAo for a sig, he makes great ones.
Looks like the Warriors will be careful with MVP Curry. Harden vs Thompson it is!
Fri Jan 01, 2016 12:13 pm
34 so far for Klay and Harden with 28. Harden's heating up in the 4th.
Fri Jan 01, 2016 12:36 pm
Looks like Klay redeemed himself from yesterday and won the matchup against Harden. That Draymond triple-double with 16 assists though, and they say he only gets assists because of Curry.
Fri Jan 01, 2016 12:42 pm
Rockets have no inside defense SMH
Fri Jan 01, 2016 12:43 pm
Having a laugh at the 4th while the Rockets are wearing those Clutch City jerseys.

I literally want the same sig, but with Lebrick's face over the dancing dude. Maybe Jao can help me

Shot of the stuff available at the scorer's table for players entering the game, apparently there's small snacks there somewhere:

Bonus shot of the computer screen of the scorer's tabulation of FGA's.

Heat played their best game of the season IMO against Dallas last night. First time all season anyone outside of Wade was actively looking to feed the big man and GOATside did not disappoint. 25 pts & 19 boards on 12/16 shooting. He hit several 15 footers without hesitation, a few hookshots, and was unstoppable on the glass. This was also one of the only times I can recall Spoelstra not sitting him in the 4th. Didn't have a ton of blocks, but he played great defense. The rest of the team looked more in sync as well, Dragic & Wade were great.
Whiteside has to continue to play a major role for this team if they're going to be contenders. If Bosh is our most impactful player, we're not going anywhere.

Wade came off the bench for the 2nd time in his career. I hope this doesn't become a trend. After all I am Wade nostalgic not a true Heat fan.
Whiteside's value is peaking. How will Riley handle this in next 2 months? Options are limited. It's either get something or rent him for a season. Or... screw Wade and go Whiteside.

Draymond Green with a huge triple double in the Warriors' win over the Nuggets: 29 points, 17 rebounds, 14 assists.
Sun Jan 03, 2016 5:53 pm
And a nasty injury for Faried.
Sun Jan 03, 2016 8:33 pm
I thought the Nuggets-Warriors game was heading to a blowout after that 1st quarter run by the Dubs. Draymond with that MyCareer numbers this man is like a Swiss Knife for the Warriors the scary thing is they also have Iguodala who can also do these things sometimes.

J. Jack out for the season with a torn ACL. Prayers for him and his team. Nets' future is not looking so bright. Meanwhile, the Celtics' stuff has probably begun to scout top five prospects.
Mon Jan 04, 2016 9:32 am
Jimmy Butler. Damn!
Mon Jan 04, 2016 10:07 am
Great game, 21 points in the third, 40 in the second half to break Michael Jordan's team record. Those missed free throws at the end almost made it for naught, though. Gritty win regardless.
Mon Jan 04, 2016 12:36 pm
fuck that. butler put them to bed and the bulls defense turned off the light
Mon Jan 04, 2016 12:37 pm
Big stops indeed.
Mon Jan 04, 2016 3:12 pm
The Raptors, you kidding me? How you let Butler score 40 in second half alone at your own arena.

Did anyone notice the Lakers are on sneaky 3 game winning streak?
Mon Jan 04, 2016 3:23 pm
Yeah, they smashed the Suns. For what it's worth, Kobe's sat out the past couple of games, though he did play in the win over Boston.
