http://www.tmz.com/2015/11/26/jahlil-ok ... ton-video/19-year-old Okafor was screaming at the other man, "We got money you broke ass n**ga."
A scuffle ensues -- people tried to hold Okafor back -- but then he escapes and swings wildly at another man ... connecting ... and sending him flying to the ground.
In the melee, Okafor tumbles to the ground and a man in a green jacket tries to punch the 6'11" superstar in the back of the head.
We're told everyone got up and fled the scene and no arrests were made.
We're told the altercation began because one of the men in the other group yelled at Jahlil, "The 76ers suck."
This happened in Boston after a loss. I hope that wasn't Sauru that got punched.
That said, the suspension is probably on the way. Perhaps Noel can step up now and finally win a game or something.

Really? Its not like the guy even called him a racial slur or anything. And his response is "we got money"? Followed by a punch?
Fri Nov 27, 2015 11:33 am
He might be only a 19 yo kid but that was a disgusting behaviour at all level and should not go unpunished. As for Sauru, get well soon, our prayer is with you.

Yeah, this looks bad for Jahlil from looking at the video.

iirc it's a felony/misdemeanor in some states if you knock someone out
Fri Nov 27, 2015 10:21 pm
Clearly this is the only thing a Sixers player can beat these days!
Fri Nov 27, 2015 10:44 pm
Pfft so what if you have money? Point of the league is to win the fucking championship. If these young guys are just playing for money, then fucking hell 0-82 here they come.

Just when you thought things couldn't really get any worse...
Sat Nov 28, 2015 3:33 am
We got monaes tho!
Sat Nov 28, 2015 7:10 am
Tell me this rich ballin 19 year old was not getting drunk at a night club before this.

Eye witnesses were shocked to see Okafor acting defensively, one of his biggest weaknesses coming out of college.
Sun Nov 29, 2015 5:13 pm
But wouldn't you also wanna punch someone if you were playing for the 76ers?
Sun Nov 29, 2015 6:19 pm
But Okafor is thrilled to be there.
Sun Nov 29, 2015 10:41 pm
It's cropped out but there's a table he's dropping it onto, the guy next to him does the same thing two seconds later:
Mon Nov 30, 2015 12:17 am
Still, looked like he couldn't wait to get out of there!
Mon Nov 30, 2015 5:01 am
Apparently, he had a gun pointed at him in another incident that he is not allowed to talk about due to its investigation, and he was caught going 108 mph while driving a car. He is under the microscope right now and needs to be careful.

Ohhhhh my what a week for Okafor lol
Would anyone be surprised if he won ROY and was then traded in the offseason?? MCW wouldn't!!
Mon Nov 30, 2015 5:26 am
What are the Sixers even doing? They've got Noel, Okafor and the second coming of Hakeem rehabbing. They have terrible guards and just seem to draft talent and then trade them away. What's the master-plan there?
Mon Nov 30, 2015 6:45 am
76ers are the youngest team. They consist of a lot of 20-22 yo players and their oldest player is Covington(25 yo) until Carl Landry comes back. This is one team that could have used somebody veteran like Kevin Garnett as a mentor. Could have made life easier for coaching staff who are forced to babysit and schooling 76ers elementary kids who are comfortably settling into losing culture and don't know how to get out of it, both on and off the court.

Haven't they traded away their first round player for several years now? I wouldn't be surprised if one of the Okafor/Noel/Embiid are gone sooner or later.

Just wanted to clarify that not all of the incidents occurred during the same week from what I read. Just in case you or anyone else thought that.
Mon Nov 30, 2015 8:35 am
Yeah it was in the last month but the news of all this has being coming out all week though which makes it seem worst (than it is?)
Mon Nov 30, 2015 10:10 am
Frustration clearly boiling over there, but you need to have more sense and self-control than that. He and the Sixers are having a hard enough time on the court; they don't need distractions like this, with the possibility of serious ramifications.
Mon Nov 30, 2015 11:57 am
He was pulled over 3 weeks ago for driving 100+ MPH on the Ben Franklin Bridge, where anything over 40 MPH is considered reckless

lol no. If that were the case then the league and players union wouldn't even be having lockouts whenever the CBA is up.
