Now the big boys are getting involved...

Dolan Asks Brown To Stop
18th March, 2006 - 9:30 am
NY Daily News - Garden chairman James Dolan initiated a truce between Larry Brown and Stephon Marbury during a pregame meeting with the Knicks' coach on Wednesday.

According to a team source, Dolan asked Brown to stop engaging in a public hissing match with Marbury because their feud was becoming an embarrassment to the organization.

Dolan and Knicks president Isiah Thomas met with Brown in Brown's office before Wednesday's win over Atlanta. Dolan left the building following the meeting.

I want Stephon Marbury to be traded to the Blazers for Theo Ratliff, Brian Skinner and Voshon Lenard or something similar.

It's the truth though. It's bad enough when a player does it but when the coach gets involved like that it looks much worse.

Larry heart Crawford

Seattle Times - As Larry Brown gets more confused in this lost New York Knicks season, he was asked about Jamal Crawford, the former Rainier Beach High star, and said, "I've been blessed coaching a lot of great kids. But he's at the top of the list.

Didn't Larry Brown coach a young David Robinson back in the day? :?

Wow, its interesting how a player that would normally drive any normal coach nuts is appreciated by a coach that preaches the exact opposite of how Crawford plays.

Actually, Crawford is playing very well lately. He improved his shot selection and he actually started to play D.

Yeah, I've noticed that he's playing a lot more efficiently as of late. I'm rooting for the guy but from some of the games I've watched I literally cringed at some of the shots he's taken in the past.

I don't really know. I guess the "literally" is just there for emphasis on how disgusting his shot selection is/was, since some people see him as a changed man.

Anyone see what happened to Frye?

O.U.C.H is all I have to say. Hope he gets better. Anyways , Francis had a sick block on Mike James last night. Off the backboard, smacked it so hard flew all the way to half court. Anyways , thats it for today . Toodles.

Yeah, then Mike James proceded to tear Marbury and Francis a new one by dropping 37 on them, including a couple of ankle breaking crossovers.

Personally I wished Mike James sucked, so he wouldn't demand so much money in the off-season...

Its classic Brown but he looks almost suicidal these days. He got so many guys whining left, right and center.

Its kind of hard not to whine when no one enjoys playing in a system where almost everyone is playing out of role and isn't given consistent minutes to become a cohesive unit on the floor.

I wonder how long it'll last. Crawford plays like that in spirts it seems like to me. Unfortunately the bad spirts heavily outweigh the good ones.

He was playing this good earlier this season, then he went into that long lull of suckiness and now he's playing good, but I have no reason to believe it'll last.
