We're only getting the ECF this year. No Finals (again!), no WCF

Lame man...
And Matt are you saying we're potentially gonna get all 7 games from both the East and West?

They ended up showing it, much to my surprise. I only noticed when I got up this morning and checked the online guide to see if both Conference Finals series were still listed.
Speaking of which, they're still listing both on the online and onscreen guides so it looks like it will be the case which is fantastic news. Kind of makes up for the lack of variety so far in the postseason coverage, the best thing they've done since Fox Sports picked up games during the regular season.

Yeah this is like the old, pre foxtel ESPN international where they used to show two games a week and then in the playoffs we'd get upto 4 games a week and both conference finals and nba finals. It was also a direct feed from NBC so we'd get instant replays galore of fouls called (to see if it was a foul or not) and nice plays. It sounds insignificant, but I prefer that to the coach and referee close ups we get now after a foul.

Ahh shit forgot that the CF were on and i missed the Detroit v Celtics Game 1, missed the Live version of LA v SA, but there's a replay on tonight and i've got that set to record...

It feels a bit odd to be presented with an NBA game every day. I could get used to it though.

Those assholes... give me a game of NBA every single day 3 weeks before exams
Fri May 23, 2008 7:50 pm
heres hoping these folks keep it up, like andrew said it is a little funny having a game a day - i no longer have any desire to travel to the US.
Fri May 23, 2008 11:42 pm
I wouldn't go that far, I'd still love to see a game live. The NBA Store is well worth visiting, too.

Tue May 27, 2008 1:58 am
Have you caught any of the games so far?
Tue May 27, 2008 11:21 pm
All of them
We just got foxtel IQ, so it helps to be able to watch the game without any ads. I get through it in nearly half the time!
(Btw, IQ is the shit...)
Wed May 28, 2008 11:48 am
I've thought about getting the IQ on and off but I still can't justify the expense. For the moment, good old VHS tape does the trick and if there's two programs I want to watch at once I just rely on the clone channels.

You do realise that espn's programming is dictated by tv rights, don't you?
