Would have been a blowout if not for Beasley's performance yesterday. LeBrick threw brick after brick.

It would all have been forgotten if he dropped that 3 on Howard at the last second. But bad luck.
And Rockets are as good as Spurs & OKC when both Howard and Harden are playing hard. And Parsons having the confidence to run in front of LeBron and dunking it helps also.

It's ok. Don't put too much stock into one game. He said he was tired after 62 pts effort anyway. Otherwise he is the Mr. Consistent in the league. It's just because of our high expectation that we tend to overlook what still is supposed to be a decent outing, 22pts on 50% + reb/ast.
Anyway, here's an interesting video...
Lillard surprises again, Dragic and Isaiah(Whoa!) are great. But ofc Kevin Durant is the top threat as a scorer. This's become a certainty since last season imo no matter from which perspective you look, he's the best as a scoring threat. On the other hand, Cousins and Nowuski are kinda disappoints according to this study.

lolz spurs just gave miami a whooping. LeBron is still recovering from the 61, he shoots shitty again.
God...

Career night for Gerald Green, 41 points including 8 threes. I was hoping he'd challenge the record, but he cooled off after the third, in which he scored 25. Great win for the Suns over the Thunder.
Meanwhile, the Clippers hand the Lakers their worst home defeat in franchise history.

Interesting development in both conference in standings.
SAS is closing in on OKC for the first seed now. Westbrook's return seems to have actually caused bit of confusion for the team. But more than the Thunder, it's been the Blazers falling out of the radar quickly. They're at 5th now (though their win% has them at co-3rd). They'd have to face red hot Clippers w/o homecourt advantage if the playoffs started today.
As for the bottom seed, the Mavericks are struggling and now lost the grip on 7th seed to PHX. Memphis, Dallas, and Phoenix, one of these teams will miss the playoffs by slight margin. Going to get heart broken. My money's still on MEM and DAL to prevail.
As for East, Atlanta Hawks now lost 12 of last 13 games. And Paul Millsap is still out for at least 1 more week. Things are looking downhill in Atlanta but this presents a nice opportunity for the Cavaliers and Pistons that are actually still trying. The Knicks also might have a shot.

Since they have the better winning percentage, the Blazers would actually have homecourt advantage in the first round against the Clippers. With the race being so close though, that could easily slip away in the coming weeks.

Weird scenery in top tier in East. After the Heat getting destroyed in two games in a row, the Pacer yet again got demoralized by the Rockets for their 3rd straight loss. Also there was a nice little drama between Harden and Turner.

Cool. You learn something new everyday. I thought it was purely by seeding all these years.

Man Blazers overcame a 30 point deficit and even led the game by as much as 6. But dammit they lost what would have been a wonderful win.

Just had to mention the Hornets win over the Pacers days ago where Al Jefferson molested that Pacers frontline D for 34 pts. with only 2 FTA for him.

What in the world happened to Roy Hibbert that day?

Spurs and Clippers are the hottest in the NBA right now. OKC will have to be "unbelievable" to get that top spot sealed.
Mon Mar 10, 2014 2:18 am
Spurs and Thunder have the same record now. It's not just them, but the entire western conf picture could change each day though. Interesting.

Heat loses, Thunder loses, Pacers loses. Wtf. At least Heat and Pacers lost against playoffs bound teams but the Thunder's loss against the Lakers,

Great effort by Meeks though, 42 points. Seems like Sefolosha/Perkins needs hurry back from injury as the Thunder now is 2nd in rank behind the Spurs. This also could hurt KD's chance against LBJ in MVP battle (despite his triple double tonight 27-10-12

)

Westbrook should chill out. When is he going to learn to let Durant take over in big moments. No really why is he still taking more shots then Durant and why on earth is Durant not handling the ball more?
Tue Mar 11, 2014 5:50 am
Durant doesn't have the mentality to challenge Westbrook's aggressiveness.
Tue Mar 11, 2014 6:20 am
So you're saying Durant is a pussy?
Tue Mar 11, 2014 6:39 am
I think Scott Brooks should be the one telling Westbrook to relax with his heroic efforts at times. He has an all-time great scorer alongside him.

No.

Heat avoid 3 game losing streak & become the 2nd team to clinch playoff spot.
Still waiting for that triple-double James will never have.
But my homie should be happy. DWade

Yes, compared to Westbrook.

Sunday I finally went to watch a live Rockets game for this season. I don't think I've ever seen such terrible officiating (and I say this from an objective standpoint); there was inconsistency in calls for both teams, but it felt like more bad calls were against the Rockets. Still, I was very glad to see the Rockets come back and win in OT despite their struggles throughout the entire game.
Harden had 41-10-6-6, the second player in NBA history (after Michael Jordan) to have a stat line like that.
Tue Mar 11, 2014 10:15 pm
Julius Erving and Larry Bird also had stat-lines like that and they did it without OT, but still, a very impressive game!

Really? Not very surprising. After searching it up on basketball-reference I can only get results from after 1985-86, so I guess that's what my sources meant.
