Turkey? It was the beginning of the third, not the end of the third, that swung that game. The US managed to get into the bonus within a couple of minutes, which prevented Turkey's strategic use of fouls to slow the game down, which was what allowed the US to break away.
Absolutely fantastic first half. Watching Turkey continually frustrate Team USA was so much more entertaining than the up-and-down spectacle it ended up turning into.

Philippines is a very great team, imo. I think they have what it takes to at least win 2 or more games but there are just too many faulty "plays" for them. I don't like calling it a "play" since what they would only do is like this:
Inbound to PG >> Dribbles >> Blatche goes to the wing; Leaves Pingris at the paint >> Pass to someone on the wing (Either Chan or someone) >> Shoot >> Doesn't get it >> Pingris is undersized, gets outrebounded. REPEAT 9999x.
OR
Inbound to PG >> Dribble out shot clock because of uncalled pick and rolls accompanied by shitty, weakass picks >> Passes it to someone beyond the three >> Shoots >> Clunks. The end.
Don't get me wrong, I watched the Philippines play in the Asia Qualifiers (I think) and they played great, with passion. But this is a new PH team that I am seeing right now. BTW, where the fuck is your El Granada?

What? Great team? I like them heart but they're a shit team tbh. Even Canada should be able to beat them easy. Olynyk/Sacre/Wiggins/Tristan/Nash/JOEL Anthony/Bennett/Stauskas/Ennis... list goes on.
I'm all for get rid of one asian entry and give it to North/South America region.

Dribble Drive Offense, that's why.
Many of us here agree that David (El Granada) should've been left out of the line-up. Rode the bench against Croatia, then scored 2 points last night on a nice pass from Alapag.

Lol at pinays thinking their team is good when their record so far is 0-2. Sure they're great.
So we beat Argenina but lose to Senegal, well that's typical Croatian team sports.

I like Walter Hermann because of his hair but not today Walter, not today.
Suck it Luis Scola.
KevinParker13 wrote: where the fuck is your El Granada?
Sucking.
He sucks in international ball but is good in domestic ball. It's the reverse with Jeff Chan, he shoots horrible in domestic ball but shoots good in international ball.
Junemar Fajardo should get more PT, he's the PBA MVP ffs.
Canada is such a shit team that Steve Nash didn't even want to play for the team during his prime.

Hey, Argentina and France qualifies for the Olympics. Unlike Canada.
And fuck that lucky three to end the half. Blatche could've tapped that out.
Tue Sep 02, 2014 2:21 am
Halftime: ARG 43 - 38 PHI
That lucky three.

And what the fuck Tenorio is doing?
Luckily though Scola now has 3 fouls.

Ginobili is injured and Parker wants to rest after that Finals run, same with Kawhi Leonard.
And Ginobili and Parker at this point are hardly in their prime.
