NBA needs a good story after the Sterling mess.
"1st time regular season MVP leads team to championship, tearfully thanks his teammates for believing in him after receiving Finals MVP trophy."

Kd: refs, you the real MVP

Regardless of officiating, Chris Paul messed up twice. He tried to shoot a full court shot thinking he was getting fouled, then lost the damn ball on the final possession. They need to stop playing for calls.

That was when Westbrook was shooting the 3 free-trows and Durant was like praying and shit.

WTF

Not even clutch enough to look. Why does the NBA keep giving the MVP award to chokers.

Looks to me, Chris Paul clearly got robbed. This is second game in this year's playoffs where CP3 got robbed daylight in front of billions watching. The Clippers have all the good reasons to be upset imo.

i dont get the entire robbed thing. the man was fouled, how in the hell can anyone say the clippers got robbed when looking at the replay?
Thu May 15, 2014 1:53 pm
How was he fouled? The hand is part of the ball.

wrist is not though. the man was fouled and the clippers were in no way robbed. it sucks cause i want the clippers to win but if they lose it wont be from this 1 play.

"The hand is part of the ball" is an inconsistently enforced rule at best. In any event, as Sauru said, Barnes got more than Jackson's hand on that play.

How convenient that the home broadcast could only produce only TWO angles. TWO cameras at an NBA PLAYOFF GAME??

Whether they got the call wrong or not, Doc Rivers comes out of this looking like a baby throwing all his toys out of his pram.
This could have all been avoided if Reggie Jackson had just passed to the wide open Westbrook or Durant on that play.

Great start for the Clippers. They eased up for a second and OKC got right back in it. They can't ignore the MVP lie that.
Loving Blake right now. He's looking for another Mosgov/Perkins facial just attacking the rim off the roll.

Congratulations to OKC. After all a well deserved win and another huge effort by KD. Blake wasn't able to stay out of foul trouble (again). Still my hero of the day (or series) was Steven Adams. I liked what I've seen from that kid so far and I'm eager to see how he will manage the likes of Duncan and Splitter.

Who would have thought that Nick Collison and Steven Adams were such a big key to the Thunder victory? +16 forCollison. 1 point differential for each minute he played. +17 for Adams. All this after Perkins foul trouble and theIbaka injury.
It's weirdhow the Clippers looked so good in the first quarter then looked confused a lot after that as many of their players were indecisive when the plays broke down. Maybe they got tired.
Great game for Durant, showing why he is the MVP. I hope they beat San Antonio.

OMG Ibaka got injured? Wow, ow could they beat the Spurs without Ibaka then?

Perkins is that bad that anyone mobile put in place of him on the floor will do good for the team.

They didn't deserve to win. I hope they get swept.

Nick Collison tying it up with a three pointer heading into the fourth...just like they drew it up.
Sorry to see the Clippers' season come to an end, but another tremendous performance by Kevin Durant, who apparently has the fourth highest scoring average in close out games behind Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, and Elgin Baylor. Pretty decent company.
Perhaps when (if?) the Spurs finally start to fade, we'll get to see this matchup in the Conference Finals a couple of times.
