Damn, there goes the "choke" bitch window. Oh well, now to the "I must bitch" mode and talking about refs playing the game for Heat.

shadowgrin wrote:lol at the LeBron white knights citing this and that without any proof. I guess Wade better step up his game just to save LeBron's ass again.

We are not the ones that need any proof. But if we did, we could just shove the 1 MVP, 1 Finals MVP and then again the 1 MVP up yours.

King Mellow wrote:Man. You're just the number one hater of LBJ.

No, he's not. And you just killed a little part inside of shadowgrin and benji just by saying that. Stress Fracture just likes the taste of anus, that's all.

benji wrote:Must win game and LeBron only takes 12 shots? Shoots 50% from the line? Doesn't even stay on the court until the end? Had to be bailed out by the refs kicking out the Bulls front line, Norris Cole and Ray Allen.

Has an MVP ever pulled a choke job like this so fast?

This is hilarious to read, man. And the last question, I don't know. You tell us, since you are the one writing the script here.

All in all, The Heat is back.

Back? To be fair, this series was over even before it began.

Yep. Thibs was luring them into a false sense of security, seeing everything they've got.

Now he springs the trap, Deng returns to help Butler, LeBron "cramps" up and spends the game hiding in the corner. Then game four, Rose comes out Willis Reed style. Bam. LeBron probably doesn't even bother to take the floor after that he'll be so afraid. With Robin out of the way, Batman and Batgirl will win game five back at home. Then back to Chicago where Rose cements who the real MVP is in this league.

Says the guy who thinks LeBron is better than Kobe who has 5 championships.
lol at using MVP awards as a measure of greatness. Yeah use something that is merely handed down to you by media members instead of rings that's the result of doin work 24/7 with the team.
Usual fanboy excuse, when asked for proof they can only say OMG HE WON MVPS (BECAUSE MEDIA LIKES HIM)! NOT A CHOKER!

That's how every fan treats opponents players. Completely unnecessary.

Game 2 sounds like it was less about basketball but more about drama. Now it's time for the Bulls to respond at their home. First 2 games set the stage nicely for the rest of the series. Going to be an ugly, ugly series.

Kobe doesn't even come to the discussion anymore. LeBron is better, get on with it. And you talk like the MVP is just because the media likes him. You claiming anyone else should have won those MVPs? Example of what popularity gets you is the highest number of votes in an all-star game.

And another this and that claim. If better in choking, yes.
As long as Kobe isn't retired he will always be in the discussion.
Like Jordan said, 5 rings > 1 ring

SoF'nAwesome wrote:You claiming anyone else should have won those MVPs?

Who's claiming what now? I didn't claim that. Just stating the fact that the MVP award is dependent on media voting. Learn to read plz.

SoF'nAwesome wrote:And you talk like the MVP is just because the media likes him...

Unlike Heat fans I don't go into speculation, like saying LeBron is better than Kobe or how he's not in the discussion anymore. Ridiculous.

SoF'nAwesome wrote:Example of what popularity gets you is the highest number of votes in an all-star game.

Exactly...
Just stating the fact that the MVP award is dependent on media voting.

Hopefully they'll be able to put up a bit more of a fight the rest of the way. That was brutal.

Rumours of Rose returning in Game 3 are of course swirling, but I'll believe it when I see it.

"shadowgrin got in the team because his dad is the coach", this sentence implies that shadowgrin got in the team not because of his talent but his daddy.

shadowgrin wrote:Unlike Heat fans I don't go into speculation, like saying LeBron is better than Kobe or how he's not in the discussion anymore. Ridiculous.

Not "speculation", more like a "fact".

shadowgrin wrote:Exactly...

Yes. Because LeBron deserved to be the highest vote-getter but Kobe got it because of his popularity. That's the proper use of "dependent".

But I don't think whatever logic or ill-logic we throw at each others faces, opinions won't change. So, for now I will refrain posting on this particular topic...until the end of the playoffs at least ;)

Re: 2nd Round(2013): HEAT(1) vs BULLS(5)

Luol Deng (illness) and Kirk Hinrich (calf) will not play in Game 3 against the Heat on Friday. The best-case scenario for Deng was about five minutes tonight, so he was extremely doubtful even before this news. He's still not quite there mentally and physically, which suggests there's still a chance he won't be back for Game 4 on Monday. It'll be the Jimmy Butler show on Friday and he could play 48 minutes for the fourth time in five games. May 10 - 12:05 PM

I've also heard about Deng playing through pain due to an injury during the regular season, and that he regrets it. And he was the top in the league for minute per game iirc.

A return for Deng this series doesn't seem likely, but the important thing is he's out of hospital and the situation isn't any more serious. It certainly sounds serious enough as it is.

Still care to explain who's claiming or implying what now?

I don't know what's worse, your basketball knowledge or your reading comprehension.

I haven't even used logic yet or ill-logic for that matter for I merely stated facts.

And why do you consider this as 'throwing at each others faces'. Why do you want something to be expelled on your face? You people take this too hard instead of being a gentleman and asking nicely. Like Kobe.

Re: 2nd Round(2013): HEAT(1) vs BULLS(5)

Certainly an intense and physical first half. Kind of funny how LeBron threw Nazr Mohammed to the floor given his comments about what is and isn't basketball after the Bulls broke the 27 game winning streak a couple of months back, but Mohammed's reaction wasn't smart, not with the roster so depleted. Likewise, Noah's shove of Andersen - who wasn't doing anything you could reasonably object to after a regular foul on Nate Robinson's floater - was just dumb. Gotta be smarter than that and keep your emotions in check. Now he's a tech away from an automatic ejection. Battier also got away with a blatant flop towards the end of the second.

Close game at the half but you can feel a big Heat run coming, especially since LeBron hasn't scored much yet.

That or he's choking. Again. Since Bostrich is keeping the Heat in this one.
