Demarcus suspended for 2 games, one of them being tonight's game. Just when I thought this was going to be his turnaround year. Hurts my fantasy team as he plays only 2 games next week. :shake:

I love listening to Elliot and Bill Land as commentators for the Spurs games.Them two are way better than any NBA espn commentators and several team commentators around the league.Especially Houston's commentators.Damn they suck. And Elliot tells it how it is.I think that is why ESPN did not want him there anymore.Cousins was just being a little bitch.I do not agree he deserved a two game suspension though.A fine yes,but not a two game suspension.

It would appear that Cousins remains a magnet for trouble and controversy. The suspension seems a little excessive, unless there was actually physical contact.

Memphis is a bad match-up for the Heat, 3-1 in favor of the Grizz since 2010.

Happy birthday Mr Westbrook. 33 points, 10 rebounds and only 2 turnovers against the Pistons. (Y)

Bynum's return to practice pushed to December

Andrew Bynum's debut with the Philadelphia 76ers may not come until 2013.

Bynum, Philadelphia's 7-foot center, will miss at least five more weeks because of a bone bruise in his right knee and could be held out until early January.

I would not want to handicap my team with a 5 year - 100 million contract to Bynum. Who is gonna take this risk? It will be very interesting.

Talent-wise, it's not that unreasonable. It's certainly better than giving Rashard Lewis or Amar'e Stoudemire a $100 million contract. He's a top three centre in the league at the very least, I'd say number two behind Howard, but that's franchise player money. With his talent he could be a franchise player, but a franchise player also has to be able to stay healthy and on the court and that obviously continues to be a problem with him.

Bynum is just 25 years old and already had both of his knees surgically repaired. Maybe he becomes a late bloomer like Grant Hill who had trouble with injuries in his early days but became more relialbe in recent years. Maybe Bynum will go the same path as Oden did from now on. I don't know but I wouldn't want to bet ~$100 mio on him being healthy enough for most of the next 5 years...

This guy has been able to stay healthy for 2 of his 7 seasons in the league. 3 seasons he's missed more than 30 games (and a fourth when he's missed 28). Now having serious health problems again. With him as a franchise player, who's ever going to take this team seriously?

The funny part is that the Sixers were insisting he'd be ready for the opener against the Nuggets about a week before the season started. What's even funnier is that this was so predictable given his history, but everybody seemed to forget about that just because he was relatively healthy last season. This is exactly why I was so skeptical in August when seemingly all the Sixers fans were having a gigantic, group orgasm over Bynum (or maybe just over trading Iguodala). Andrew Bynum will never be a franchise player in this league, even assuming he grows up and this is the reason why.

In the meantime, we can continue hovering around .500 (when this trade was supposed to free this team from being forever mediocre), watching Nick Young and Evan Turner shoot 30% FG, Lavoy Allen doing nothing and Spencer Hawes and Royal Ivey being Spencer Hawes and Royal Ivey. The bright spot of this team is Jrue, too bad he's turning the ball over about 15 times a game now.

Say what you want about Iggy, the man's not perfect, but at least he fucking played.

The life of a Sixers fan. Not sure why I do this to myself. But hey, J-Rich is back from his ankle injury!

Varejao and Irving BOTH set their career highs in scoring and the Cavs still get blown out?

Speaks volumes about the remaining players.

How in the world do you score 5 points in the 4th and still win the game?

Feel terrible for the dude that he suffers through all that, but he's pissing his career away before it even begins. Calling out your team over your own issues is not the way to get teams to like you.

On a happier note:

Kemba Walker is a monster! Respect the Kemba!

Waiters hasn't become consistent yet and our defense sucks.
