Our backcourt will be a little small but we have a good young group of guys and we can finally move Varejao back to his real position.

Looks like Sullinger might fall to Celts. If so, what a steal!!!

Not a fan of Lillard. He wasn't that good in college and doesn't seem to be that good of an NBA prospect, another undersized combo guard. He reminds me of Bayless, who I liked but didn't work out in Portland.

I liked the Leonard pick but with his injury its easy to see where this is going...

Certainly an uneventful draft in terms of trades.

Not sure about the Bulls' selection of Marquis Teague. I suppose it's a decent idea to try and bolster the rotation at point guard with Rose being out at least half of next season but long term, a swingman probably would've been the way to go. I didn't really have high expectations with the #29 pick, hopefully he pans out.

liked the reaction of Knicks fans when they drafted a European player

Was hoping to see more trades, but sadly Bobcats didn't set dominoes in motion. Had they picked Beale at #2, traded down to get Robinson at #4, Kings suddenly don't get him & trade out of #5, with Rockets ready to strike.

Looking at draft, New Orleans did well with their other picks, should be a good spot for Rivers & I'm a big fan of Darius Miller who should beat out that ex-Clippers SF whose name I can't remember for minutes. When Hornets re-sign Gordon, they're looking pretty good for future. Stern made a great move vetoing the trade. It shows he's probably better than half the GM's in the league

Like Lamrock, I don't like Blazers' draft. I think they should've traded down, given #6 & #11 to Houston for Lowry, #16 & #18. Houston would've got the higher picks they coveted, Blazers would've got Lowry (better than Lillard) & could've got Zeller at #16. Blazers might get most value out of their 2nd round pick, Will Barton, but we shall see.

Thought Philly should've rolled dice & taken Sullinger at 15 & not traded #45 & a future 1st rounder (!!!) for Moultrie. I always get scared of future 1st rounders because usually they're protected early then less protection later. It's likely a pick in the 15-20 range. Just don't think Moultrie is worth it. I could be proven wrong though.

Meanwhile Cleveland had big reach at 4 again. Last year they should've taken Jonas Valanciunas at #4 instead of Tristan Thompson. I guess at least they got Zeller with Mavs' trade. He's no Jonas brother thought. This year Waiters, arghh. It's almost like they were always expecting that Bobcats would trade down to 4 & they'd get Beale. When that possibility evaporated, they decided they'd take the next best SG (I think potentially that will be Lamb even though Waiters & Ross went before him). I tf they had taken Jonas last year, Thomas Robinson would've been right pick this year. Ahh well. I would've preferred Barnes over Waiters.

That's probably the thing there wasn't much of today, teams trading & flipping positions. It seems to have been the case for the last few drafts

Talking of Barnes, the Warriors did well to fill their SF need at #7. Ezeli will be good backup for Bogut when he inevitably gets injured. Draymond Green is a nice pick early in 2nd round.

Finally glad for Detroit that they didn't have to settle on taking John Henson with Andre Drummond crying his way down to #9.

Then they picked up both Bayless & Sergio Rodriguez, who had a lot of potential. Then they get Andre Miller to stabilize the position with Patty Mills as the new prospect, but then they trade Miller for Felton, who they are clearly not satisfied with and then tonight the Blazers draft another PG. Make up your minds!!

When the Cavs took Waiters with the 4th, I was hoping that the Blazers would pick Drummond so that my Raptors could take Lillard with the 8th. Or maybe traded up to get him. Instead they stayed at 8th and grabbed some guy who gets a hard on from shaking stern's hand

Fortunately for Hornets, Davis doesn't need the ball to be effective. He's a game changing on the defensive end & he'll get his 10-12ppg as a rookie on dunks, alleyoops, energy plays & the occasional jumper.
