I think a lot of people underestimated the Pacers and now the Celtics; I know that I certainly did. With the series now a best of three and two of the three games in Miami, on paper it does seem like the Heat are favoured to advance, though it may take seven games. The Celtics may have missed their window for pulling off the upset with that tough OT loss in Game 2, though should they take Game 5 I actually like their chances to get the job done at home in Game 6. History favours the winner of Game 5 after a 2-2 tie and the way this series has gone, whoever builds a double digit lead first is probably going to be the ones going up 3-2.

Did Van Gundy seriously just suggest practically outlawing defense?

I wouldn't mind OKC/BOS in the Finals....

Don't come onto forums populated with other people and tell them to leave you alone. Just don't come here you dope.

We should get a still from that to replace our current "I'd like to be alone please" pic.
I guess Celtics fans can thank me for jinxing the Heat at the start of the series. Clearly, I underestimated them...again. No guarantees of course but they've got a really good chance to finish this one off at home in Game 6, seeing as how they still managed to eke out the road win with Rondo shooting 3/15 and Pierce going 6/19.

Ah, fantastic.

Great game. Cs are my favorite team after the Mavs so let's hope they gonna take this one in game six.

Wow, did not expect Heat to be facing elimination this early.
I originally wanted to see MIA vs OKC in the finals (even before this season started). But now i'm starting to get excited about a potential Boston vs San Antonio match up. 2 savvy veteren teams against eachother!

Not surprised that the Heat lost. That's what you get when you do not give your best player, the greatness that is Joel Anthony, any minutes.

fyi Pierce tried the shit talk last year and it didn't work.
if we really lose this series, it'd be more sad than last year bcuz i really believed the heat r truly the better team. i am still expecting the heat to make a come back and win the series, narrow win in game 6 and then blowout in game 7. having ma fingers crossed.

FYI Lebron, Wade, and Bosh tried to win a ring last year and it didn't work.
They have the same team minus the ostrich now.

I don't think it would've hurt them to throw Bosh out there for a bit longer in the second half. Having tested the waters with him in Game 5, maybe in Game 6 he'll get the 20-25 minutes he's being limited to and be able to have an impact down the stretch.

Same here. I almost didn't care if he became a next Brand Roy or Greg Odin. I just wanted him to be the difference maker that we've been lacking tonight. Oh well. Next game maybe, next game.

Yes, yes, we know, any horrible injuries inflicted on the players as long as they benefit the Heat.
Play em until they can't walk again!
But one friendly little elbow and CRIMINAL CHARGES PLZ.

Yep. That Pittman's friendly elbow was bit overly criticized.

Who gets traded Wade or LeBron?
Wed Jun 06, 2012 9:01 pm
Miami needs to change their offense down the stretch and trust their role players more instead of isolating wade or james, because we all know isolation is not gonna work well against the Celtics. The Heat needs to play Bosh more, especially down the stretch- Garnett was dominant in the paint late in game. I liked the impact he had, especially on offense, and you can clearly see he missed playing basketball and is now playing with a chip on his shoulder- like that and 1 he scored over KG, when he could have passed it to LeBron for a dunk. Call it selfish, but to me it shows that he's ready to play.
Absolutely crucial game for Miami in Boston Thursday night, main thing is shutting down Boston on defense, like in game 1. Last night I thought Celtics had a lot of good looks, only they didn't fall, especially for Rondo. They said they had to play with a sense of urgency in this series but wasn't able to do so at the start of games, I don't think that's gonna be a problem anymore.

https://twitter.com/#!/goodjobkidStop ripping on LeBron, he tries hard. He promised 8 championships, do you have any idea how much hustle and effort that will take?
The Heat are super sad in the locker room - I don't get it. They got to play basketball on TV! They should have had so much fun!
What's up with Wade's rimless glasses? The eyeglass maker totally forgot to finish..aw well, it's okay! Good effort!
Watching a replay of that Paul Pierce 3-pointer...LeBron ALMOST got a hand in his face. Good effort, good job! @kingjames
To me this game ended in a tie. Boston and Miami each scored 10,000 hustle points.
To the guy sweeping up my spilled popcorn...good job!
Leaving the game...why is everyone so mad right now?? I saw a lot of awesome hustle out there.
