What is wrong with this Granger dude? He constantly gets in the face of Lebron and Wade for no good reasons. All sudden, he acts like a tough guy in this series. Obviously he's done a good job getting into our head but this guy looks more fake tough than Bosh ever was. This kid should chill a bit. And anyone says the referees favored the Heat in this series is retarded as fuck.

Maybe Wade would have been pushing him because Collison was about to step on a land mine?

And here I thought I was good at defending Wade but SkyLine is on a different level...

Collison was ready to throw it down with Wade but Barbosa stopped him. Collison didn't complain but it's safe to say he wanted to break Wade's face for such a bitch move.
It was a dirty play nonetheless but he didn't get hurt, so don't you think it's time to stop whining about it?

So you think it's ok to throw intentional hard fouls as long as no one gets hurt? That thinking is retarded tbh.
The league should start letting fist fights happen as long as no one gets hurt.
I like seeing 'physical' plays myself but what Wade did is really a bitch move. Both of them were going at full speed and Wade tackled an unaware Collison with the intention to hurt and not to go after the ball.

NovU wrote:I am not going to deny that Wade's foul was flagrant worthy but not agreeing that his foul was as dangerous as some people make it out to be.

They were running at full speed and Wade tackled him. There's a reason NFL players wear padding. And helmets.
Since you're canadien, hockey.

I'm not saying it's OK, I'm saying overreacting is not. It's not like Wade slapped your girlfriend around...

I just posted my opinion about it to voice my displeasure since a some of you Heat fanboys think it's ok for Heat players to 'hurt' other players while if a non-Heat player does it they demand banishment from the league and even call it a crime.
Besides, you have the right to post and complain about people bitching about Wade the same way I can also post and complain about Wade being a punkass bitch. Saying other people to shut up and 'stop whining boo-hoo' I could also say the same to you and stop defending Wade like he is your boyfriend.

Haslem was Bosh like today. He took an elbow to the face and that fired up his game. His mid range jumpers were what put the game away. (Y)

More I see Bron's game, more I am amazed. Wade was struggling again early on with 1/8 or 2/8 shooting, but Bron found him open/easy shots and he was able to get out of a slump and get back into a sync. Bron had a monstrous game again, quitely. It was his game that kept Pacers' lead within 10 all game long, and it was his performance again that gave the Heat a lead in third. He provided for all quarters.

The good news for the Heat is that LeBron and Wade both came through with big games to even up the series. The bad news is that outside Haslem stepping his game up, it's still essentially a two man show with Bosh out. Good win, but by and large their role players are offering very little at the worst possible time.

I'm not defending Wade and I got no reason to, I'm just tired of reading nothing but complaints instead of decent conversation and analysis about the series. If someone did that to Wade what wade did to Collison I definitely wouldn't bitch and moan about it for like 5 posts as I think he is man enough to stand up for himself, and if he's not then it's not my problem.

But then of course this is the internet and people do this useless shit because they think it makes them look cool or whatever. I think it's pathetic.

Anyway, less off topic, more on topic. Good win by Miami tonight and game 5 will be huge, really looking forward to it. :)

I still don't think two people can win the championships like I said before. The rest of the players need to step up or lebron and Wade need to put up similar numbers like tonight.

Your overeaction in this thread says otherwise.
That other poster wasn't even bashing but defending Wade. What he was bashing was how Wade acted. You would know that if you just read the post instead of quickly reacting/defending just because you thought it was a Wade bashing.
As for me, like I said it was an objective observation of how he acted and I think you agree with me that what Wade did wasn't ok as your post said.

SkyLine03LT wrote:I'm just tired of reading nothing but complaints instead of decent conversation and analysis about the series.

You want decent converstation and analysis because it's a Heat related thread and you're a fan of the Heat. Meanwhile in another thread...
SkyLine03LT wrote:Don't worry, that's only because the Lakers suck.

That champion vibe from when they made the Finals 3 years in a row is long gone...

That's certainly decent conversation and carefully thought out analysis to just call a team that they suck.

I feel the same way about 'white-knighting' too.

SkyLine03LT wrote:Anyway, less off topic, more on topic.

I agree.
Less Wade drama and more posts about the Greatness that is Joel Anthony that this thread deserves and needs.

As I said in the previous post here, Lebwan was just amazing. I watched a lot of the Heat games this season and this was one of the better Lebwans I saw today. But it was funny that Wade finally playing good was a bigger news to people and commentators.

He played all positions, PG to C and dominated at everywhere on the court in every minutes he played. Choker? That's shame how people can still claim that. He put on a show that's absolutely terrifying in probably the most important game of the season this year.

True. But I'm more happy that one of our bigs stepped up to be a Bosh tonight. We needed that third wheel. And we are still capable of beating good teams with 3 people playing well. Lebwan, Wade, and whoever steps up to be a Bosh.

Skip loves making a idiotic statement on Lebron and the Heat. Helped his career a lot and keeps winning him more attention. What's stupid is that there are actually a lot of believers and followers of him, as opposed to our forums guys regarding him as an idiot who's not even worth listening to. As for Stephen, I love how his end-it-all argument is always about rings, and meaningless awards. In the end, both of them always seem to forget the fact that basketball is played 5 vs 5.

:facepalm2:

The problem with Skip and Stephen A Smith is not with them, but with the people who take them seriously. Their job is to create conversations. Conversation about what they say = more attention for ESPN = more money for ESPN. They start these conversations by making claims, that are usually clearly wrong, unfair, or unpopular, which gives people something to say. They do it on purpose. It's all for show, and they have fun with that fact. You can tell. They say outlandish stuff and argue and hype things and make a big deal out of non-issues because it gets people talking, which ESPN know will eventually result in $$$'s. It's horrid but it's marketing genius. And you all fall for it.

So if you quote a "stupid" Skip Bayless quote then they've won.

Shame on you benji. :shake:

Quoting them on these forums should be banned.

You can't expect a standard "analyst" let alone a stupid forum poster to realize that LeBron would be nothing without Wade there to lead the way and score 30 points.

Wade has a ring, what does LeBron have? Nothing.

The fact you're trying to defend LeBron's empty stats says more about you than it does about the experts.

Impressive performances by James and Wade to bounce back and even up the series again. But I really don't think Heat fans should be all that enthusiastic after game 4. The Heat needed absolutely monster games by their two stars and even that would have been for nothing if Haslem hadn't made a few jumpshots in the clutch that he's been blowing all season long. And all that just to win a tight game against... the Indiana Pacers. Even pretending James and Wade can play like this every game - they can win a game like this, they might win this series like this, but they're definitely not winning a championship like this. They're playing two on five on offense (ending of the 4th quarter being an exception). Anyone else gets the ball, they either turn it over or miss an easy shot. No bench, no shooters, no nothing. If LeBron and D-Wade play like this every game from now on (which is highly unlikely), they can get past the Pacers and Celtics/Sixers (will be tough though, cause great defenses shouldn't have that much trouble guarding just two players who get 90% of their points inside), but if they get to the finals, they're completely screwed without Bosh.

Nope...
Game data available for the 1985-86 through 2011-12 regular seasons and 1986 through 2012 playoffs.

You're missing out 39 years of data or about 3200+ games (regular season & playoffs).

I don't think the Heat fans are that optimistic at this point. Many of us are only hoping we survive this series and Bosh returns healthy soon enough for us to play at high level once again. And the Heat not giving out schedule for Bosh's return doesn't sound good either. My assumption is that it probably has something to do with protecting team morale.

At the same time, we still believe in this Heat team to certain degrees as Bron and Wade can perform at a miraculous level on any given night.
