Vince just isn't clutch like Hedo

Well played, sir.

Of course, Carter can comfort himself with the thought that he only missed two clutch free throws to Anderson's four.
Magic fans have to be haunted by memories of free throws, though. Nick Anderson in Game 1 of the 1995 Finals, Dwight Howard in Game 4 of last year's Finals, and now Vince Carter in Game 2 of this year's ECF.

I think Dwight's excused because of his career FT%, but Nick and Carter,

No excuse for Dwight either, shadow. IMO, he should get his FT% in the low-to-mid 70s at least.
Fri May 21, 2010 2:57 am
Nonetheless, Dwight did his job on his part. Him on offensive end was abusive, and got Celtics' frontcourt more than enough trouble. And also shot 70% from ft, so wasn't too shabby.
It was VC and 20 million seldom used Lewis. They both need to step up.
But unofficially, I think this series is over already. 2-0 and now 2 home games for the Celtics. Might as well be a sweep and let the Celtics enjoy rest before the finals.

Orlando can still win this series, but they will need to get something out of Nelson and Lewis, their 2nd and 4th best players. Howard was great, and Carter has also played well, choking aside. All is not quite lost...

All the games were close too.

How often does an undefeated playoff team get swept? I know it happened to the Lakers in '89, has it ever happened other than that?
Sat May 22, 2010 10:02 am
I can't recall any offhand, if there are any others it's got to be a rare occurrence.
Sat May 22, 2010 2:38 pm
If the Magic want to win Game 3, they can't let Boston get a double-digit lead, that's what they allowed in the first two games, and though they came back, it wasn't enough.
Sun May 23, 2010 8:40 am
So in order to not let the other team win...they can't give them the lead?
I wish the NBA teams would figure that out.
Sun May 23, 2010 8:48 am
Theoretically, yes and it took 30 supercomputers to calculate a definite instance of that happening.
Sun May 23, 2010 10:11 am
I think Orlando wins this one, but Boston probably takes 4 and 6
Sun May 23, 2010 11:09 am
Awful game. Orlando had 6 points till 1:25 left in the first quarter and their trademark D also failed big time.
20+ million dollar man, Lewis and VC whom the Magic brought for his offense are failing.
Well... only a first quarter but it's saddening nonetheless.
Sun May 23, 2010 11:17 am
What the fuck?
Sun May 23, 2010 11:35 am
Fuck is good, you're underrating the Celtics too much.

F~~~~~an~~~TasTIK! It's safe to call that this game is over, so I can go work out now. The way Magic's playing, it's even worse than Bron giving up in game 6.

The Celtics will knock off the the Magic with a broomstick

Well, that's sort of along the same lines I said, but if you want to win, you can't let a team get a 15+ point lead, and the Magic have have not done that as of now.
