are you comparing Hinrich with Chris Quinn?? if so i would have to ROFL
Sun Sep 07, 2008 2:35 am
Feel free to, but that doesn't change the fact that based on last season Chris Quinn was the better player.
Sun Sep 07, 2008 3:14 am
the entire bulls team sucked last year
Sun Sep 07, 2008 3:37 am
Okay? Noah was fantastic, and Deng and Gordon were pretty much the same as always.
That doesn't change my claim. Indeed, ignoring Hinrich's fluke season, and even using Hinrich's entire career (using the fluke season) Quinn was still superior last season than Hinrich.
Sun Sep 07, 2008 3:53 am
I am by no means a Hinrich advocate, but what exactly do you base Quinn's superiority on? Aside of shooting 1% better from the field than Hinrich this last season, Hinrich has a slight edge in every category, including PER. (only a slight edge this season, but over the entire career, a decent margin)

True, Hinrich uses 25% more possessions, but they're all lower quality.

point is, it would be stupid for the heat to do the trade. nice change of subject though to get talks away from how dumb that trade is
Sun Sep 07, 2008 6:48 am
Only slightly less ridiculous than LeBron for Kenyon Martin.

I'd say that too, I don't fancy the idea of the Bulls relying on Hinrich to shoulder any more of the scoring load than he has so far in his career.
Mon Sep 08, 2008 10:14 pm
I really dont like hinrich at PG nor at SG for that matter...I see him better off switching positions from time to time..and with rose on the backourt, the bulls can do that now... and for gordon, i like the fact that he can score, but for the money he's asking, not worth it.. he is a glorified sixth man, a spark of the bench...a big bang spark...much like pargo but better...if only isiah was still the gm of the knicks, i bet he is going to play for the knicks...
and as for the scoring load, with the he got deng will produce (or better he should produce)..all they need is a low post threat...and things will be better for the bulls..

DONT EVEN JOKE ABOUT THAT.

What happened to him? And was he really THAT bad? I always thought he was one of those below average but still pretty decent role players. You know, getting a couple of minutes here and there and scoring a bucket or two every now and then. Then again I never really watched a lot of Bulls games...

the rumors about him going to moscow was a
lie It would be smart to go back to the Bulls are realize his worth
Tue Sep 09, 2008 7:06 pm
nice for bulls if thats true
his agent sucks
Gordon on bulls = bright future

He was like a very poor retarded man's Darius Miles. Unfortunately Eddie Robinson stayed healthy a lot of the time.
He wasn't the worst player to wear a Bulls jersey, by any means. But he just couldnt do much of anything.
Wed Sep 10, 2008 2:22 am
The worst was Marcus Fizer
Wed Sep 10, 2008 9:58 am
Not even Marcus Fizer really. He was just drafted far too high in an extremely weak draft.
Wed Sep 10, 2008 10:12 am
Robinson got injured and never recovered. Before that he was looking like he'd become a longterm starter. That's why the Bulls signed him.
Look at his first two seasons:

His agent certainly isn't doing him any favours. Without any leverage, I wouldn't be surprised if they blink first unless a European team does step up to the plate with a better offer.

Miami Spoke To Bulls On Gordon
As expected, they balked at having to take on the kind of contract he's after.
Thu Sep 11, 2008 11:58 am
they wouldnt want 2 SGs with massive contracts
Thu Sep 11, 2008 12:16 pm
They would probably put Wade at the point guard position.
Giving a short, mediocre version of D-Wade that can't play defense D-Wade money would be foolish.

thank god, someone else who thinks that Hinrich isn't as good as everyone says he is.
Thu Sep 11, 2008 12:53 pm
Actually, that opinion is the general consensus these days.
Thu Sep 11, 2008 8:32 pm
chicago would be stupid to do a sign and trade involving ben gordon...unless its for a player like beasley = =
why cant they just sign him and play him as starting sg = = rose needs a big time scorer to pass to
Thu Sep 11, 2008 8:36 pm
It's not that they don't want to keep him; they've extended an offer to him, after all. He just wants more money than they're willing to give him at this juncture.
