beating the Suns just doesn't count like an accomplishment anymore.

Hey Bailey... "You're a credit to your CUNTry" :shake: :shake: ... Sorry i see that you are man who like Bron.. But.. Man that's the truth.. Cavs are а middle team.. The Big three in the association are now.. Lakers, Celtics and Detroit... And.. Maybe i am Credit to CUTry.. But I am sure that i know somethings about the game basketball... So please don't give such a comments for me..OK?

I'm sure now Cleveland can compete for East title along with Detrot and Boston of course.

Szczerbiak could be a real "killer application", his sweet hand for three could be important for cavs.. especially when lebron goes into.

and ben wallace + ilgauskas + varejao is one of the best frontlines of the nba. congrats to cleveland gm, he made a great trade.

For Seattle, i'd say that presti made another big shit.

It was necessary to get Ira Newble and Marshall. Wow.

Tue Feb 26, 2008 5:29 am

Do you really think they're trying to win now?

funny you seem to know a lot about Big Green despite joining about 2 months ago.

His name is in his signature.

How anyone could think larry hughes, drew gooden, and garbage - for wallace, west, wally, and smith is a bad deal, is just stupid.

Smith > Gooden (much better, he is consistent and plays D)
Wallace > Marshall (marshall flat out sucks, overweight and old)
Wally > Hughes as SG (if wally shoots 38%, it's better than hughes lol)
West > Hughes as PG (hughes can't distribute or shoot)

Wallace, even though against memphis, played with a whole new energy, and the 5 second violation was just amazing. Also, he was 5/6 FG on all dunks, which means delonte and lebron drew the defense to them, and then dished...... That's a pretty good combo that was out there last night.

Can't wait until tomorrow and wednesday :)

yeah i really like the deal for the cavs, but i guess everyone can have thier own opinions, no matter how wrong they are :D

yeah, it's not our fault chicago couldn't provide for ben and we can  (he's going to play a lot better with a Z and bron front court, Z will open him up for o rebounds and put backs, bron will open him up for everything)

And i don't think people realize the talent of delonte, wally, and smith (all perhaps underrated players). Those are all extremely talented players, people haven't seen them play, and they don't see them on espn so they think they suck.

Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:42 pm

i have brought up west plenty of times and will continue to do so til he loses to his old team in boston

English obviously isn't your first language but it doesn't give you an ezcuse to sound ignorant. I'm obviously a fan of number 23 but I use objectivity when I type my opinions...I don't rant like a 2 year old who just had some sugar. This forum doesn't take kindly to stupid homers...OK?

Stephen A made the same point on Shootaround last week and while there's something to it, I still think it's making too many excuses for Wallace's attitude in Chicago. As air gordon said in the Bulls thread, when you're being paid $15 mil per season you have a responsibility to come out and compete hard night-in, night-out.

That said, if being on a better team snaps him out of his funk and motivates him, so much better for the Cavs. I can't say I'll be cheering for him though, I have much more admiration for someone like Kevin Garnett who continues to play with passion and to the best of his ability even when he was on some struggling Timberwolves teams these past few years.

stephen a smith lol, that guy is a piece of work, last i heard he hated the trade for cleveland, but who knows.

It's the same way with hughes, instead of adapting to fit the team's needs, hughes just did whatever he wanted out there. And i think hughes made a comment that said he just didn't fit cleveland.

Hughes is a piece of work, there's a website about him taking so many bad shots, because he just shoots jump shots and he's not a jump shooter

My <whatever you'd call them> so far  :

Last night, everytime ben gets the ball in the post he doesn't even look at the basket, he doesn't even think of shooting (it frustrated me because even though he's not a scorer, he can still put it up though) - it's like he's scared to shoot it or else he'll get booed if he misses - but he had 7 pts, and twice he got fouled hard which caused him to miss and those officials didn't call them. (like they didn't call redd's travel on the last play of the game)
- Ben has hustled a lot on defense and got many huge rebounds though.

Delonte West has surpassed my expectations thus far, he's creating a lot of things for this team and hustling (last night, 7 pts, 8 rebs, 7 assists), and they were all good assists and he's creating offense in this short time he's been here.

Wally was 5/18 yesterday  , he just doesn't have his shot yet, he was extremely frustrated after he missed a big shot in the fourth (he threw a filled gatorade cup), but it's good to see that kind of emotion

Smith is a dynamite player all-around in his first 2 games (dynamite as in much better than gooden), he had 14 pts on 6/8 his first game, and 12 points on i think 5/11 FG with 8 rebounds last night. He also played some lock down defense which is nice also.

Sorry Sauru, but it's time to go get Boston tonight :!:

No question, I don't think Hughes is a huge upgrade on Ben Wallace in the attitude, selflessness and commitment department. At best, he's a big guard with a few skills that could potentially help the Bulls but he's not the answer to all their problems by any means, in the short term or the long term.

Thu Feb 28, 2008 1:20 pm

Larry Hughes ate the Pacers for brunch today. Thanks for putting us closer to the Michael Beasley sweepstakes mr. horrible tattoos.

Thu Feb 28, 2008 3:02 pm

Ben wallace should join keith van horn and aron mckie on limbo.

I don´t see any passion there since he signed with the bulls. It does not look much different on the cavs

Thu Feb 28, 2008 7:12 pm

I love Wallace.....he destroyed Indiania, Chicago and is doing his best to do so in Cleveland, all the while Detroit functions at a high level!

Sat Mar 01, 2008 11:04 am

No argument here, but when he was in Detroit it seemed most Pistons fans were pretty high on him.
