I've read that Jimmy Butler isn't keen on signing an extension with the Timberwolves. Apparently he has an issue with Karl-Anthony Towns.

ideal bum buster off the bench lol
to me its a great cockblock move to rest of the nba. maybe it won't work out in GSW but that's better than it working out with him on another contending team

Apparently him and Kyrie wouldn’t mind playing together. This buddy-buddy shit has always been there to some extent, but that it’s so out in the open now is just so weird.
Irving and Butler in NY, what say you Jeffx? Don’t the Bulls have capspace for both as well next year? I read they want to rule the east in any case.

Right on the mone I guess Slight chance of working out is now eliminated at just 5 mil. And regardless his role on the team, they are a healthy contender.

Dwight Howard Finalizes Buyout, Will Sign With Wizards
does this end the wizards, or make them better?
Wed Jul 04, 2018 9:00 am
I'd like to think that it could help the Wizards - I mean, statistically, Dwightmare was great last season. That said, outside of Orlando, he's been a chemistry killer. So I'm leaning towards more of the same.

Jackal wrote:Tyreke Evans, IT, Brooke Lopez (jesus Magic, sign this dude), Parker, Crawford, Avery Bradley & Jabari Parker are the "biggies" remaining I think?
Evans signed with the Pacers for one year, $12 million
Bradley resigned with the Clippers for two years, $25 million
Crawford had been linked to the Warriors, he wanted this MLE slot, they wanted him at the minimum
Parker's an RFA, so he'll take his qualifying offer most likely to try again next summer
Wed Jul 04, 2018 10:03 am
IT probably heading to Orlando on a one year prove it type thing.
That pretty much concludes the big movers and shakers I think.

That's quite the lengthy pattern, which makes me to believe that he was like that in Orlando too, maybe it just didn't affect them as much because they were winning
Wed Jul 04, 2018 11:48 am
It's possible, but he was also the franchise player in Orlando - a role that he hasn't had since. Like Melo, it looks like he doesn't take being a complementary option very well (I know, understatement of the century).

As AG said, there's no way Butler's coming back to Chicago. Well, surely not, anyway. It sure sounds like that relationship soured beyond salvaging.
Dwight's plight is unfortunate, but from all accounts, he's brought it on himself. He's not the player he could've been, but he's arguably more than a lot of people make him out to be, too. It seems he's destined to be nomadic for the rest of his NBA career, though. He's too good to be bouncing around year-to-year like he has, and it speaks volumes about the way he alienates locker rooms.

The plot thickens.

if a top level talent is willing to play for 5 mil why not just sign with the warriors? personally i think chasing a ring is foolish as it means nothing in the long run except for the best of the best. i think it makes much more sense to make as much money as you can in the limited window that you ha\ve, specially when coming off of an injury.
this shit is all shaqs fault you know.
Wed Jul 04, 2018 8:17 pm
It's true if shaq fu hadn't been successfully crowdfunded none of this would have happened.
Wed Jul 04, 2018 10:26 pm
Apropos of nothing, I'll blame Shaq for the delay of NBA Playgrounds 2.

Dwight Howard receives a buyout and is bound for Washington. As it happens, John Wall is apparently on the trading block.
Thu Jul 05, 2018 3:52 am
Guess that beef between Wall and Beal is still there and management decided to stick with Beal.
“Everybody eats when we move the ball.” - Beal when Wall was injured.
Thu Jul 05, 2018 5:27 am
Is there a source for the Wall trade block comment? I haven’t read that one. I thought trading Gortat was managements way of appeasing Wall.
Wall for Lillard, which team says no?
