Well some GMs, among them Danny Ainge, are beginning to think that the upcoming draft class is overrated.
As a fan of NCAA basketball I have to agree. Parker's playing well and could be #1, but Wiggins is far from what people expected from him. Well and if Embiid is probably a top 3 pick you know it could be better...

KINGS BUY OUT FREDETTEFredette used to be a crowd favorite but his welcome has worn out due to lack of development.
But I think he can be useful as a specialist. His biggest concern is defense and dribbling. He's got a loose handle, slow feet, and lack of vision. As long as that's ok, some teams still can use him. Perhaps to the Heat?
As for Granger, the Spurs and Clippers are after him atm.

Fredette will likely to join the Bulls. As for Granger, he's leaning towards the Clippers.

Caron Butler to OKC. Wow

That's not that big kind of a deal. Butler is pretty washed up now and far from what he's been when he was on that Dallas championship team. I think the Clippers made the better deal in signing Granger...

I think he is an upgrade over over Lamb and should be useful for the Thunder as a legit spark off the bench as long as he keep himself healthy. He had surpringly a quite a few nice games this season despite on and off minutes and health issues. He is still capable.
It's actually interesting though that he chose Thunder over Heat because he's a former Heat and played with greatWade. I guess the Heat are deeper at his position so he has more competition over there.

he still puts points on the board when given consistent minutes, which he hasn't gotten much of all season due to injury and the Bucks rebuilding. he dropped 30 a month ago

Dragic 40 points, Irving triple double, even better Curry triple double by third quarter and sits out entire 4th. Nice night for these point guards.

True.
And props to him for choosing a smaller market team over Miami.

NBA Requests LeBron James Switch To Clear Mask:It is our understanding LeBron used the black mask because a clear one he was comfortable with wasn't ready," NBA spokesman Tim Frank said.
How is that a problem? It's not like he is wearing black glasses so people can't see his eyes. How does the mask color make any difference?

The NBA tends to be pedantic about these things.

He can still score, but he lost at least a step defensively.
My biggest concern is his health. As you've already mentioned, he struggled to stay healthy lately.

A black man wearing a black mask, that can't be good.

What's wrong with black man wearing a black mask? What's he supposed to wear then? Make ups?

Come on man that pic is a bit disturbing.
NBA did this just to establish control of things really. NBA wants to market Lebron exactly the way they have in mind. The whole mask thing was getting out of hand. Lebron was marketing himself during games with that mask and it was getting a lot of attention. NBA just wanted to put the brakes on things and regain control.

Kobe did this first. LBJ was just being a copycat and usual himself goofball.

I personally liked Kobe's look better. I can't say he looked like a crime fighter but at least he did look less villain than LBJ for some reason, lol.

That's racism.
I guess the mask was just too black for the league. They must feel comfortable going back to white. Interesting.“I didn’t agree with their reasons, but I’ll do it. … I’m good with the NBA. We’re good. I’m not against the NBA. … For reasons they told me, it didn’t make sense to me. But hey I’m just a player and I will abide.”
I hope when the mask isn't needed anymore, LeBron will make(not literally) the most of it...

But still, the whole NBA thing is mysterious. I don't get why they had to forbid Kyrie & Kobe as well.
As for the NBA, Durant/Westbrook combined for 54 points today. With Durant shooting 8/24 with 12/12 fts. He had 6 boards & 5 assists. But I got a feeling Durant won't let go of this MVP race so easily, even it means Westbrook changing his style. Because the season has started for real at the Heat camp with LeBron James & DWade beasting.

15 dollars for shipping? That's ridiculous.
Mon Mar 03, 2014 4:02 pm
Still not as ridiculous as having to pay $19.99 for 80,000 VC.

Qballer does. Nice 61 points effort.

Bron goes cold as Heat fall to Rockets. And Durant lights it up on the other side.
This MVP race is getting pretty interesting.
Wed Mar 05, 2014 4:50 pm
22 points on 50% shooting is cold?
Wed Mar 05, 2014 5:32 pm
Ah come on. He had a total of 1 rebound. And coming off the last game, 0-3 from 3pt line?
Wed Mar 05, 2014 5:53 pm
22 pts on 50% is solid but not for LBJ especially when his counterpart KD scored 40+ points in 3 quarters.
LBJ choked with last game tying shot and scored 3 points in second half?
Beasley was beasting though.
