Constant lineup changes, epic one man show performances, unpredictable endings, and it showed us that Klay Thompson is expendable... Pretty good Finals in totality... Iggy's a good choice for the MVP with Draymond next after him but Lebron is god-like in this series (and the Cleveland crowd are hilarious waiting till the end just to see the league cockblocking them giving it to Iggy)... Bring on the draft...

LBJ Finals Stats.477 TS%
40.8 USG%
104 ORtg
Regular Season.577 TS%
32.3 USG%
112 ORtg
Those that rave about LBJ's Finals performance... Just No, he did not play well. There is big difference between LBJ System Played Out Well and actual LBJ playing well. It's the system that somewhat kept the Cavs in the series, not because LBJ was spectacularly fucking up the Warriors on single handed effort. You know who actually vastly upped performance in the finals from regular season? Mozgov and especially Tristan Thompson.
You can't tell from numbers? Let me put this in a perspective even idiots can understand. League average TS% is about .532 TS%. Imagine how tough it is to win when your best scorer uses 40.8% of possessions(makes Kobe look like a noob at ball thugging) and shoots .60 TS% less than average player. Even heavily guarded Iverson in the Finals shot better than LBJ against a stacked team with significant size advantage.
This is the point already made by Jackal. This series was an excellent example of team basketball thriving over Hero Ball. The Cavs had no choice to go all in into LBJ hero system. What trumped at the end is Curry/Klay system with more team emphasis. Now, Iggy was a product of stepping up within the system but he wasn't the System just as Tristan was able to thrive in smaller scale within LBJ system. Curry and Klay are still important pieces, not expendable.

What is your problem?

Of course his stats looks better in the regular season... He got a healthy team back then and he's playing in the East...

You take the fanboy role and now scorned fanboy role to another level.

Nah. That was actually me being serious.
I will give credits to LBJ system playing out well against a vastly superior team, but I don't think LBJ played superbly well enough(kinda like Curry not being able to play big within system that's built around him&Klay but to a significantly lesser degree to LBJ's Cavs) despite enormous racked up raw stats.
Phatgeezer, I read a discussion the other day how Tristan should also get his payday. Tristan kinda excelled under LBJ's wings. This put Cavs in a tough position with all those big players(ie. Love) to pay big money. Gonna be interesting.

LeBron needs to jack up a thousand 3 pointers in the gym a day until he gets good at it. Its too hard to play 82 games straight plus the playoffs playing the way he does to not be fatigued by the end of the season. Either do that or become a permanent PF so Cleveland can stick another 3 pt shooter out there at sf because his 3pt shooting is that bad. Blatt might be better off doing a lineup like this
5. Love
4. LeBron
3. ???
2.Shumpert
1.Irving
Take Love out the game when he does not want to play D. You will have Mozgov and Varejao behind him.
Then move LeBron to the 3 when Tristan Thompson comes in the game.

Jackal wrote:Agreed with Livingston having come a long ways, Curry too for that matter. There was a period his glass ankles had pretty much led many to believe he'd be perpetually injured. Sort of like Irving right now.
Curry's ankle problems were overblown, in my opinion. During the lockout shortened 2012 season he missed 40 games, but that's been his only major blip. He hasn't played fewer than 74 games in any other season to date.

this right here. these 2 were huge for the warriors and a major reason for them being the champions right now

At least I had real reasons to diss the guy but you guys sounded like jelly bitches since 2010.
Thu Jun 18, 2015 2:00 pm
no you dont. you have zero reason to hate him. no one from miami has any reason to hate him. all he did was bring miami 2 championships, yeah fuck that guy. i hate it when people play for my team and win us rings. what an asshole

As I've said a couple of pages back, It will not be a bad move if they let go of Love and either one or both of the Knicks pick-ups (I prefer retaining Shumps if possible)... Resign Thompson then chase a solid wingman like Wes Matthews or Arron Afflalo...The Cavs will do everything to keep Lebron either by going over the salary cap or persuading him to do a Nowitzki to accommodate everyone...
Thu Jun 18, 2015 2:50 pm
LeBron will never do what Nowitzki did.

Curse you too young grsshopper, so much bullsx in this lil post of yours. is that why u curse ray to this very day who brought u a ring
don't, even try
Thu Jun 18, 2015 4:32 pm
the only problem i ever had with ray allen was him saying he does not want to come off the bench then leaves and goes to a team where he comes off the bench. i much rather a player who is up front with people. just say rondo is a fucking asshole and be done with it
all i hear from miami fans is how much of an asshole lebron is when all he did was roll into town and bring the team to 4 straight finals winning 2 of them. i have never been a lebron fan but all you fucking idiot miami "fans" are filling the internet with so much hate for this guy i am actually starting to feel bad for him
Thu Jun 18, 2015 5:28 pm
So Ray had lame excuse to leave. Big fucking deal whoop dee doo.
I've not know many Miami 'fans' going around and filing the internet with hate because I have zero interactions wid them both on/off-line. Even if they were, I find more laughable the most hated man now is suddenly a good guy in this league, his letter should have shed kazillions of tears I guess. How touching. Just look how retarded was Shadowgrin's hate for LBJ but he seems to be on LBJ bandwagon perfectly. Cute.

you seem to be under the impression that people either love or hate someone. believe it or not its possible to not hate someone and not love them at the same time. i do not hate lebron james and i am not on his band wagon as you like to keep saying. everytime anyone says anything about lebron thats not hateful you say they are dick riding or on his band wagon, there is a middle ground

I wonder if it's possible for people to say things they don't actually mean, perhaps in a joking manner.
Things like filling their signature with Kobe gifs.
Thu Jun 18, 2015 9:56 pm

Who in their right minds would joke about having Kobe in their sig? That's just not funny business.
