76ers are a
BIG joke.

The Philadelphia 76ers will agree to a buyout with Danny Granger, according to a source.
Granger was acquired last week by the 76ers in a trade with the Indiana Pacers.

Clippers? Heat? Spurs? Thunder? Mavs?
Contenders' lottery pick is here.

Glen Davis went to the Clippers. Solid pick up.
As for Granger, it'd be a huge 'fuck u' move in the face to the Pacers if he goes to the Heat. He was allegedly extremely discontent about going from the top team to the worst.

Personally, I don't think he'll be a good fit for the Heat though. I'd like to see him signing with the Thunder.

Clippers are stockpiling talent. Wonder if it translates to a WCF appearance.

I think he could be the valuable chip in the playoffs against teams like Grizzlies and Spurs defensively. Last season, Blake Griffin was abused and got injured as Zach Randolph used his massive weight to push him around. Neither DeAndre Jordan could do much against fat brothers, Zach and Marc. Their back ups were Ryan Hollins and Turiaf. Likely, Glen Davis can fill their shoes nicely as a solid weight bag around the paint. He could come useful in Grizzlies' grind style games.
Anyways, Dirk adds one more clutchness to his legacy.
Tue Feb 25, 2014 4:53 pm
Dirk CLUTCHitzki for the win. lmao
Tue Feb 25, 2014 5:28 pm
Fuck Granger. He is the reason I didn't like Pacers, but now I'm all for Pacers and PG24.
LOLZ for thinking he could join Heat. Remember last year? That bitch was trying to create "a thing" with Three.
Clippers already have enough guys. And he won't fit with the Thunder style. So, where to?

What kind of moron would give Dirk single coverage on defense at his preferred scoring area.
Either Jamal Crawford respects the coaches he had or hates them so much that he remembers all of them, not bad.

Look at Dirk's buzzer beater celebration. He's almost bored and teammates are more pumped up. What a character.

Dirk Nowitzki post game interview wrote:“That was probably the ugliest game-winner I ever shot,” said Nowitzki, who finished with just 15 points -- his only two in the fourth quarter the final two of the game -- on 6-of-13 shooting. “I had no idea where [my shot was going].
“Once it went up, I figure it had a chance, but I wasn’t quite sure it was going [in]. And then it actually went in, and I didn’t even feel like celebrating it was so ugly. I kind of turned around and saw the bench running at me and it was a little disappointing.
“But like I said, we’ll take the win and move on.”

He was trying to miss.

Why only now when Antoine Walker is already out of the league.
Wed Feb 26, 2014 2:42 pm
Is Lillard really a second year pro? This kid is already a top 3 pg in this league imo. Fuck our last season comparison, fuck Wall and Irving. Let's talk CP3 and Jordan Crawford.
Also, Shabazz with a real nice game.

EDIT: just looked at the stats. Ok top 3 is stretch. Lowry and dragic are surprisingly spectacular this season.
Wed Feb 26, 2014 4:19 pm
CP3, Curry, Dragic-- that's the top 3.
Wed Feb 26, 2014 4:23 pm
Dragic looks like he has been through a lot
Wed Feb 26, 2014 9:23 pm
Kinda looks Oden only white. Both got nice smiles though... imho.
Thu Feb 27, 2014 2:08 am
I imagine Jimmer now being a hot commodity in the league.
Thu Feb 27, 2014 4:09 am
I can see Dan Majerle coming out of retirement.
Thu Feb 27, 2014 4:43 am
As well as Antoine Walker.
Thu Feb 27, 2014 3:30 pm
Portland just annihilated Brooklyn by 44 points. 124-80
Thu Feb 27, 2014 3:41 pm
Impressive. Without their supposedly a best player, Blazers are still blazing, 4th straight win now (prior to 1 loss w/o Aldridge). This team will become a beast again when Aldridge gets himself back to full health. Once Wade retires, I'mma declare myself a Lillard's fan and continue being annoying ass so deal with it, forum.
Same can't be said about OKC though. Westbrook is trying to cock block Durant's race to the MVP. He took more shots than Durant once again and Durant ended up scoring only 28 points in a loss. This should somewhat make LBJ happy, lol.
EDIT: Since we don't have a Suns thread...
It looks like this is going to be the worst season for the Suns despite their impressive record. Makes me feel that they shouldn't have fought so hard like everything's at stake. They had a nice start to season by trading away Gortat. Everything seemed to be going in the right direction. But then their continued winning season tricked them to thinking that they're actually good. Now they're gradually losing their grip on their playoffs hope with surging Marc Gasol and Grizzlies. (then there's mad Kevin Love who's also chasing it hard)
Makes me think this is going to be a sad ending for the Suns. They're going to miss the playoffs and then miss out on rich draft pool. I mean they were supposed to land Wiggins, at least everyone's favorite to have the biggest chance at him.
Thu Feb 27, 2014 4:59 pm
Bulls beat Warriors by 20 as well. Which is more impressive than Blazers beating Nets(not to take anything away from them).
Westbrook is the angel sent down from heaven because LeBron was praying like crazy. I understood that after seeing Westbrook against the Heat that day

But still, Durant's stats are still pretty impressive. Unless Bane James continues to beast like the last couple games, it's still a no go.
Why a sad ending for Suns? They weren't supposed to make the playoffs anyway. Only Dragic beasted and got their hopes up.

Problem is that you dun wanna be stuck at middle of nowhere especially at a season where draft prospect is this strong. They will compete and narrowly miss the playoffs and wont get a high eniugh pick that they need.
Another problem is that they dont have building piece to look forward to. In other word you just dont have up and comer to look forward to in this roster so things are bleak again for next season. Dragic is nice, so is Blesoe and etcs. But from this season we can kinda imagine them at their best which is fringe playoffs team in a very strong conference. They arent attractive market for big time FAs either. So you will naturally get stuck in medicrity at best and continue playing a role of school for talent development where stars eventually signs with other teams.
They should have stuck to tanking instead of making benji look like a fool for projecting them to be the league worst. They were doing nice job, sending Gortat away. Dragic also was supposed to be gone but they stuck by him. In other word their rebuilding plan suddedly came to a pause and now it will take longer. And some other teams get to enjoy Embiid, Wiggins, and Randle like big sexy market teams like BOS and LAL. They chose great time to tank and stuck with the plan despite their early season surprise. The Suns are fucked now for being deluded. They also cant give PT to players that they need to develop like Len bcuz they are committed to compete. Fools.
