That's 40 games in 2008, not on the entire season. He's played 70 out of a possible 74 games so far this season.

Jae is more or less showing the stats to illustrate that Bogut is slowly starting to move towards the player we all expect him to be....

Yeah basically. His first two months (before 2008) were average, but something's lit a fire in him in 2008 and he's been an entirely different player.

Does anyone believe that Bogut will one day become a star? I could see him possibly reaching a level where he's a well above average player and could conceivably make a token All-Star appearance if everything fell into place in a career year but I'm hesitant to suggest any higher level than that.

Statistically he's been the second best C in the East in 2008, if he was in the West he'd probably never play an All Star game but really if he keeps playing like this into next season I can't see why he won't make the East bench, especially since Sheed's getting older and will probably decline more.

You fail to point out that Andrew was third.

I think Bogut will make an all-star appearance or two. If Jamaal Magloire can make the all-star game in the east, then Bogut can.

I don't think it will happen until the Bucks improve in the standings. I don't see his popularity surpassing Dwight Howard which leaves a selection by the coaches or appointment as an injury replacement by the league as his only route to the All-Star game. To draw enough attention as a suitable candidate, the Bucks would most likely have to be winning in addition to Bogut having a career year. I'd like to see it happen though.

Name one better Center in the East not named Dwight Howard or Andrew Bogut. If Magloire can get in via the coaches vote, Bogut can.

Well, Okafor seems to always be injured, (or playing PF, as I think that Nazr starts at the 5) so I think that Bogut can find an opening there.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas would have to rank up there and Rasheed Wallace remains a candidate as long as he's posting decent numbers and the Pistons are winning. As long as the coaches can name a power forward like Chris Bosh or Jermaine O'Neal as the reserve centre, it might not matter if Bogut is top three amongest Eastern centres if his numbers don't match up to theirs.

Horford is going to turn into a big-time player, but we all know he is a PF & that he'll be an All-Star at that position, so I'd exclude him in centre comparison moving forward....

Various teams have tried in recent years, but it's the Milwaukee Bucks who have managed to lure John Hammond away from the Detroit Pistons to be their new general manager, according to NBA front-office sources.

This is great news....detroit has done a very good job making deals and drafting rookies. hopefully he can bring some of that magic to the bucks. Now all we need is a good coach.

10+ assists in the last 3 games.
Including, the 24-assist performance against Chi-Town.
Which I still find mind-boggling.

I guess being in the D-League does help.
And really, I mean it DOES help.

I guess playing for a team that is already out of playoff contention and thus using bench and D-League players does help.

It's nice to see although I wouldn't read too much into it....it's like reading too much into summer league games....these games didn't mean anything to the Bucks, so Sessions was given free reigns of the team....

all that being said, I like Sessions more than the other chumps as he feeds Bogut, & Bogut in turn feeds him back (Y)

Rumor is saying that Scott Skiles could be hired as Bucks new coach. Im not sure this is a good idea or not. He did well with the Bulls, and the bucks do have talent. I just think they need to make the pieces work together.

They could do a lot worse. Skiles has been a bit maligned by the Bulls' awful season, though I still think he's a coach with a more limited shelf life compared to the likes of Phil Jackson, Gregg Popovich, Pat Riley and Chuck Daly to throw out a few names past and present. Perhaps it will be a different story when he's got a roster that doesn't have the same weaknesses as the Bulls.
