If fox sports doesnt provide any coverage, then I have a feeling that we wont be seeing the Bulls until the Finals.

And if Kobe doesnt score 90 in one of those games, i will be very angry.

You're probably right, though to their credit ESPN did show a couple of the Bulls games last year. They mostly came on Fox Sports though, so if we're stuck with ESPN Australia we won't be getting the kind of Bulls coverage we got last year...which is bad news because they won all but one of the games that was televised here. :P

SAME GAMES EVERY YEAR

Tue Oct 02, 2007 5:09 pm

Wow, why so many Laker games, its not like they are good lol

2 games a week in november? thats way too many... how will they fit in all the scrabble and lacrosse games? not to mention the 2007 Domino Classic!

Wed Oct 03, 2007 2:28 am

i'm cancelling foxtel so it doesnt bother me what games they have on.

They'll make some last minute changes to squeeze them in.

I looked in the magazine today, and there is a TBA game scheduled on Fox Sports 1 at 4 p.m. on October 31st.

There's 3 potential games on October 30th (U.S. time):

Portland@SAS
Houston@L.A. Lakers
Utah@Golden State.

The Jazz/Warriors game isnt on National TV, the other two are. It's only scheduled to run on Foxtel for 2 hours. So, that would suggest that it's not live or, given the late start of it, it could be edited highlights.

Anyway, that doesnt really matter, because the good news is that it seems as though we are getting the NBA on Fox Sports as well. 3 or 4 games a week again, which is terrific news.

all those Lakers' games make me sick :x Will's going to be wetting himself when he sees that :|

looking at the month of November, the only games I intend on watching are Lakers vs Suns, Lakers vs Celtics & Lakers vs Bucks....& no, I won't be watching them to see the Lakers play :|

Lots of Lakers games = Lots of Lakers losses. (Y)

Sat Oct 13, 2007 3:08 pm

why would the schedule Heat games knowing Wade was going to be out to start the season?

I only glanced in the Sports section so I missed that. Good looking out. (Y) If last season is anything to go by, then the Fox Sports coverage should balance out ESPN Australia with a little bit of variety.

Speaking of ESPN Australia though, December has been posted and the October scheduled has been updated to include two pre-season games featuring the Cavs and Magic to be played in China.

It was in the sports section so, I dunno, you might want to get your eyes looked at, perhaps. But thankyou for the kind words. :P

Awesome news about the pre-season games. Even if that does make 6 Cavs games in a row!

Mon Oct 15, 2007 10:53 pm

whilst I couldn't care less about Lebron, it'll be good to watch JJ Redick get some playing time & show everyone that he can play at the top level (Y)

I must've been looking in the September guide as it was quite clearly in the Sports section of the October issue. At any rate, good news indeed. :)

Tue Oct 16, 2007 5:24 pm

Cant wait to see some Redick!!

Tue Oct 16, 2007 9:23 pm

any thoughts on why Foxtel TV Guide hasn't been updated?!? I tried to set a reminder for that pre-season game for tomorrow night but couldn't find it....

Wed Oct 17, 2007 1:26 am

They're often a bit slow on the uptake with the onscreen guide. I set it up manually. Just in case it runs overtime as well.

Wed Oct 17, 2007 1:37 pm

can anyone confirm that the magic/cavs match is on ESPN tonight!? I can't seem to find it.

Wed Oct 17, 2007 3:49 pm

Yeah it is, i just set it to record then :D
and then again on Saturday, they're both there :D :D :D
No Nuggz on ESPN for November, lets hope Fox Sports gives us some love...

Fri Oct 19, 2007 1:18 am

It was definitely on. Not a bad game, a decent warmup for the regular season. Let's just hope that the coverage of the 2008 Playoffs will be much better; as I've said before I was pretty happy with the regular season coverage last year but the playoff coverage was unquestionably awful.

Fri Oct 19, 2007 2:06 am

I saw the game, or at least half of it until I gave up on it....was a pretty mediocre game when compared to Bullets vs Kings NBL game, but I guess it is only pre-season....might skip the return game on Saturday arvo, I think 3rd place RWC playoff will be more riveting....

Sun Oct 21, 2007 10:10 pm

The second game was less competitive, mainly because the Cavs' second unit played most of the second half but it was good to see some of the lesser used players and players battling for a roster spot get a run.

Mon Oct 22, 2007 5:13 pm

Just got my Austar guide today.. Fox Sports are showing games on Wednesdays and Fridays like they did last season (Y)

Mon Oct 22, 2007 9:21 pm

I'm assuming my November Foxtel magazine will be arriving sometime this week. Do they list any specific games or are they all listed as TBA as they were for most of last season?
