I think it's bballbreakdown that had some Smith talk. Basically Smith is an EXCELLENT catch & shoot 3 point shooter and would excel in Korver's role. But once he puts the ball on the floor, his efficiency sores, a lot. And compared to the Knicks days, he simply is shooting with more space between the defender, hence the efficiency.
I am thinking Smith despite being a career decent scorer, he never had that handle nor finishing ability to become great. So I am inclined to believe it's more of his skillset than maturity issues that limited his game.

That's really the problem. It's even contagious. His bandwagon is full of idiots, this thread is a living proof.
blind hate is just as bad as blind loyalty

Final predictions for today?
I'm sure it's going to jinx them again, but I think the Warriors will indeed wrap it up in Game 6. Again, another monster game from LeBron, but it won't be enough to overcome a Warriors team that's finally clicking as they have all season long, and earlier in the Playoffs.

curry hits 6 3's tonight and breaks the finals record while winning the nba championship and finals mvp

Enjoy the game fellows, hope for an exciting final game. As much as Lebron has done for his team I wouldn't totally mind seeing him get the FMVP.

I feel a blow out coming, either way.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 11:40 am
If this Warriors team had shown up earlier, this one could've been in the books by Game 4.

Offensive foul?
Bullshit 3rd call on Klay.
Referees want game 7 just like LBJ dick riders.
Again... ball bounced off Shumpert's shoulder, yet possession awarded to the Cavs.
Good thing that the Warriors look poised though.

Refs have been pretty subpar in this series, but it has gone both ways. Points for consistency and fairness, I suppose.

The shots the Warriors get are the shots they want. Even when they were down those first few minutes is because they were just missing the very good shots.
The Cavs on the other hand missing shots just because they basically suck offensively and are scrambling because outside of Lebron no one else can really handle the ball to save their life. Also Blatt doesn't seem to have many set plays to run besides give the ball to Lebron and let him do his thing which isn't really a bad thing obviously but shit, try something different? Just throw a line up of James/Miller/Jones/Smith/Shumpert out there and see if it gets you anything.

See? Shumert guarding Curry and getting a jumpball. Whatever happened to Curry stopper Delly?
EDIT: That's gotta be a flagrant on Shump.

My God I'll miss basketball once this series is over but I really won't miss van Gundy and Jackson creaming themselves talking about Cleveland.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:10 pm
Van Gundy and Jackson's comments about the officiating is about as all over the place as the officiating itself.

You know, if someone would've told me that Livingston would guard James in the Finals I'd think that's nuts. For a lanky guy he isn't as abused as you'd think he would be.
Edit: missed call there with Smith locking Green's arm allowing for that follow up slam.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:20 pm
Warriors have left the door open with that cold shooting. Dodging some bullets with the Cavs missing some free throws. Can the Warriors make a layup?
Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:21 pm
Iirc the Cavs never outscored the Warriors in fourth quarter. That makes upcoming third quarter kinda interesting.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:28 pm
What the fuck is this old guy doing?! That's dangerous shit for a guy that old.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:30 pm
He's been doing it all Playoffs.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:39 pm
16-32 rebound differential. wtf
Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:44 pm
Yeah, that and the Warriors missing good looks has kept Cleveland in the game.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 1:00 pm
Ezeli doing good work, nice to see.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 1:02 pm
The Warriors might just be too deep for the Cavs. Player after player keeps stepping up.
Wed Jun 17, 2015 1:07 pm
I think this ones over, Lebron disappearing and the rest of the Cavs are the rest of the Cavs of course.
