sportsguy33: Kobe finally hits a jumper: 68-64. Timeout Boston. Big release from crowd on that one. Celts offense just fell apart... one shot per possession and never a good one. I want to commit a homicide.

game over. i am outa here

This is a clear case of what Artest brings to the team. The reason I like him over Ariza and Vladmir. He actually toughens up the team. He's dirty, strong, and actually plays the D. He never backs down from anybody, though he makes mistakes time to time. He did his job defensively this season regardless of poor offensive outing compared to his previous years.

NOOOOO PLZ MISS GASOL
Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:42 pm
Still a minute and a half left but looks like the Celtics are done.
sportsguy33: Pretty shot by Gasol - LA by 6. Let the record show he reacted the same way Baby did in Game 4 when Phil the Arrogant A-Hole Jackson claimed that his players would never act that way. No I'm not bitter.

I'm literally in awe, and all of you doubted Kobe.

I don't think anyone doubted Kobe. Just your paranoid ramblings.

Kobe with a chance to clinch at the line, Wallace fouls out.

There's a chance but with the way the Celtics have been shooting, I'm inclined to agree.

Rondo with a three
Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:50 pm
Amazing shot by Rondo, feels like it's just delayed the inevitable though.

Everyone did, the media had been calling the Celtics unstoppable since day one. Saying that Kobe wasn't a winner and not a leader. He has proven all the haters wrong tonight. He's not just the greatest Laker and the greatest guard but he's probably the greatest player of all time.
Just your paranoid ramblings.
Kevin Durant: 0 rings.
Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:53 pm
Well, that's gotta do it.
Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:54 pm
Kobe's unparalleled leadership encouraging Vujacic to put the game on ice.
Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:55 pm
time to drink my sorrow away
Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:56 pm
And it's over. Lakers repeat, Celtics could've had that game but the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth went along way in giving it away.
Fri Jun 18, 2010 1:56 pm
done... congrats lakers!!
