I hope we get lots of the Spurs v Nuggz matchup with ESPN and if Fox Sports is covering the playoffs, i hope they give us Miami v Chicago or Dallas v GS, none of this Eastern shit
Playoff TV Schedule:

I really need to know what matches we'll get though... Does the Foxtel ever update and tell us who will be playing before the match starts? or does it just stay as Round 1 Game 1 and you have to wait until it starts?

I seem to remember them updating the online and on-screen listings about a week in advance last season, hopefully they'll do that again. Otherwise we'll just have to keep checking and hope for the best.
There's a playoff preview on ESPN at 12:00 tomorrow. No other detailed listings as yet, in fact there's only one game scheduled in the next seven days which is a huge step down from the rest of the coverage so far this season.

EDIT: i just searched on the online Fox Sports guide for any Basketball and the only thing that came up was Fiba World Basketball
I wouldn't care if it was holidays or a weekend, but because i got school i cant watch the matches on the Internet or anything!
EDIT2: Yep just checked on my Foxtel. Nothing other than this Sunday

It really is surprising, their playoff coverage is usually a lot better. Still, they've been known to change listings at the last minute so we'll have to keep checking.

ok i've checked this morning and it's Utah vs Houston.
That's fine with me, should be good
EDIT: and looks while we'll get Nuggz v Spurs next Sunday on ESPN
NBA.com schedule wrote:Gm 3: Sat., Apr. 28 SAS @ DEN, 8:00, ESPN
or if were unlucky we'll get Utah v Houston again...
NBA.com schedule wrote:Gm 4: Sat., Apr. 28 HOU @ UTA, 10:30, ESPN
im prayin for Denver vs San Antonio

One game per week is ridiculous though. It better not be this way throughout the Playoffs.
Sat Apr 21, 2007 3:09 pm
yeah true Andrew. Oh well i am looking forward to the Rockets game. i think they will get through to second round and have a big chance of upsetting mavs. so that is the game i would most like to watch.
Are we going to get an eastern conference game, or what?? i think they will be more exciting games, because anyone could make it through to the finals IMO

awesome, i was doubting they'd add any more during the week
and better news.... for me
Nuggets vs Spurs Game 3, next Sunday on ESPN.
just like i predicted

As you can probably guess I was hoping there'd be a Bulls game in there but three games (from three different series, no less) is a lot better than one game per week. I was hoping for four or five though; guess I'm just greedy.

Some jerk that i live with erased my recording of the Rockets/Jazz before i had a chance to watch it. For shame.

The May Foxtel magazine arrived today and it doesn't look like Fox Sports will be showing any playoff games at all; it's all ESPN. The best thing I can say about it is they're going to be showing the Conference Finals and according to the online guide the entire NBA Finals come June, with a total of eight games scheduled in May. Quite a disappointment after much improved coverage during the regular season.

I thought we only get 2 a week? or do you mean 3 total so far? (Utah v Hou, Phx v LA, Den v SA)...
I can only see 2 this week...
and yeah that sucks Fox Sports haven't got any coverage
Tue Apr 24, 2007 7:26 pm
that sucks ass....we should at least get more ESPN games since they cover so many.

was an improved coverage during regular season. we got more games, but still not enough variety. Too many Mavs, Suns, Cavs, Pistons, Heat games. not enough games like Blazers vs Sonics, or Bucks vs Celtics. we never see any of the non popular teams, which really annoys me because i get sick of watching LeBron play all of the time....yes, it is possible to get sick of LeBron

"outside" sources mean plenty of playoff action, and variety.

Looks like it's only going to be two per week.

There was more variety than the last couple of years on ESPN. Every team was shown at least once except for the Hawks and Raptors, though I agree the schedule was a little heavy on the Cavs, Heat, Suns, Pistons and Mavs games. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for more variety if I can't see my favourite team every week but compared to the "Spurs on ESPN" coverage of the 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 seasons it was an improvement.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 12:49 pm
i will agree with you on that one Andrew. But ever since i got Austar which was 3 years ago i think, Blazers have been shown 3 times that i can remember. i know that they are terrible and not many people would want to watch. I think that we should get more games, so we can get more variety. 1 game every 2 days would be good, or maybe 1 every day.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 12:55 pm
No argument there. If they offered league pass here I'd definitely subscribe.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 12:56 pm
yeah me too. that is another reason why USA would be such a good place to live!
Wed Apr 25, 2007 6:25 pm
isn't League Pass available to Aussies?
Wed Apr 25, 2007 7:49 pm
Nope
Wed Apr 25, 2007 7:53 pm
nah i didnt think so.....cos if it was i would be trying sooo hard to get it.
anyway, i think we get every game of the Finals....? if so, that is sweet. and i checked the may guide and it says that we also get the draft lottery. that is sweet! because i dont think we got it last year, did we?
Wed Apr 25, 2007 8:12 pm
yeah, they had the draft lottery.
I was really hoping we'd get both the ECF & WCF this year.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 8:58 pm
just a quick question guys, do you know nba tv broadband? is it possible to get that in england then? or can it be anywhere in the world so long as u have broadband?
