I probably should've spoiler-tagged that one.

Don't worry brother I checked the score as soon as I opened my eyes this morning!

Good news to wake up to!
Less so for any Pistons fans in the UK.

How is everybody feeling about the Boston series?
Tue May 06, 2025 10:26 am
Will be a nice sweep

I am tired of the NBA right now. 82 season games, then too many playoff games...it is like soccer World Cup with 30 instead of 3 group games...games are not exciting anymore after watching dozens of games over many months.
The best soccer leagues consist of about 18-20 teams, e.g. Germany 18, England 20...18 teams -> 34 season games! 34, not 82. Yes, the US are big, but...at least either reduce the season to only one home and one away game against all other teams -> 29*2 = 58 season games...or let the Western conference play against Western teams only, the East vs. the East...followed by East vs. West playoffs.
In Europe, events are short, but full of excitement. In the US (I am not hating here, but expressing what I dislike) everything is celebrated biiiiig and looong although it is small and average...every NBA game with the national anthem (anthems are for international events, not national ones!) and a ton of "Let's get loud", "Let's dance, let's play the bongos, let's cheer, OMG, everything is sooo exciting" events in a ton of game breaks, but only few fans watch what is going on in the breaks.

The nba doesn't need the cup and if they continue it then don't cram it into 2 months stretch it through to March. I agree with Trae Young, the nba doesn't need a play in, they have played 82 games already to decide the seeds.
Anyway great win for the knicks on the road, would be amazing if we could head back to NY up 2-0
Tue May 06, 2025 11:26 pm
I lost all hope being down by 20...the win was a big surprise.
Thu May 08, 2025 11:30 am
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeees! What the...again down by 20...then the run...and Bridges with great defense for the win! Unbelievable!!!
Thu May 08, 2025 11:40 am
Wow.... just wow!
I don't know what else to say, Bridges saved us in the 2nd half and once again his Defence in the final possession

Knicks vs. Pacers incoming? We really are throwing it back to 1995!

Let's not count the money yet, Andrew....one quarter at a time. Still have to respect the Celtics. Can't let them tie this series up.
Unreal. Bridges is showing us why Leon Rose gave up those draft picks. No one's complaining now. You win with defense and Bridges came through at winning' time!
Jalen Brunson is the best PG we've had since Clyde Frazier. MSG is going to be ON FIRE Saturday afternoon! We haven't had springs like this since the Riley/Van Gundy years.

It's not crazy to think knicks going to the finals if we can take care of Boston I think the Pacers are a better matchup for us than the Cavs

Quite right, 0-2 isn't an insurmountable lead. Pretty good start, though!

Glad to see the that game 3 from NY is being shown at a UK friendly 8.30pm on Saturday

My finals prediction was Lakers Celtics. I still don't understand why the Lakers are already out.
Sun May 11, 2025 4:26 pm
Very disappointing effort last night.
Wed May 14, 2025 1:13 am
That was on hell of a win last night and Bridges has been amazing at both ends, I don't care what people say. The trade for Bridges was the right thing to do at the time, people talk about Gannis now being available and we don't have our picks but that's hindsight nobody can predict this plus who's to day the Greek picks the knicks anyway.
Thu May 15, 2025 10:39 pm
I had a feeling the Knicks would lose last night, but damn....they were totally out of sync. That was worse I've seen OG play, and KAT makes the dumbest fouls. They better wrap this up at MSG tomorrow night.

It's all part of the plan so we can celebrate going to the ecf on home turf
Sat May 17, 2025 1:18 pm
No slow start for the Knicks tonight...they came out, punched the Celtics in the mouth and never looked back. For the first time in a quarter century (since the NLSC 'Black & Blue' days with Tim & Lutz, Andrew,

), Knicks are back in the conference finals against their long-time rivals the Indiana Pacers - let's do it!!!!

What a throwback, on all counts!

It's crazy to think back to them days, I started checking in on this site Christmas 2001 when I first got the Internet and remember the knicks glory days threads and it's crazy that it's been that long since we were a seriously good team lol
Knicks took care of business and I hope they come out strong against the Pacers too
Thu May 22, 2025 7:31 am
Well, the fun starts here in NYC tonight. I work two blocks from MSG....the atmosphere hasn't been like this since the 90s.
Thu May 22, 2025 1:22 pm
What the...I am mad right now! Blowing a 14-point lead with 2.5 minutes to go is really painful! Same stupid Pacers action like Miller's 9 points in 9 seconds...always against the Pacers.

Indiana with 6 back to back threes, 5 of them by Nesmith...that hurts...then Anunoby with the missed FT, the lucky bounce off the rim by the Pacers, but luckily, it only counted as 2 instead of 3...overtime, Brunson loses the ball, no defense followed by the easy dunk by Toppin..and luckily, the foul was not given for the and 1...but Brunson with the airball, Towns' shot just touched the rim...
Losing 135 : 138 when up by 14 with 2.5 minutes to go is insane! There were not many NBA broadcasts when I grew up with basketball...I watched the CNN teletext during the Knicks vs. Rockets series with only about 1-2 hours of basketball on Sundays...on a German sports channel...with only some highlights...but I did watch Killer Miller destroying the Knicks within seconds, and today's plot felt the same with a lead being destroyed by some big 3P FGs by Indiana.
