Oh hell...
I was realy looking forward to this years playoffs.

Now Rose out Howard out... Heat will make it to the finals easillly.
I hope Rose can recover from this.

I want to see how it plays out, all this "it's over" before it's even begun is to negative. You never know what will happen in the playoffs... and we've already seen 4 examples:
Rose got hurt
Knicks fail
Magic win
nail biter in OKC
Sun Apr 29, 2012 4:29 pm
Agreed it's full of surprises and mostly bad surprises.

Sorry, i just was so pissed this morning when i heard it. Rose is such a great player and it always makes me sad when i see injuries like that. I know the Bulls had great games this season without Rose , but it still sucks. Rose did so much for this franchise the last years and now he is out

last season i think they swept the heat, or won 3 out of the 4 meetings. So it doesn't matter much in the playoffs.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 6:21 pm
What I am proving is the Bulls can beat the heat without Rose
Sun Apr 29, 2012 6:23 pm
okay. btw look at this site. it says he torned both his ACL and MCL

Oh didn't knew about that I thought it's only ACL thanks for the info.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 6:52 pm
It says it's a rumor, and that's a bleacher report like site.
The damage won't be known until they actually go in.
Sun Apr 29, 2012 7:06 pm
I see. I actually saw it first on NBA.com.

The season Rose had is pretty much the single reason why the lockout/shortened season should never be paired together, or even happen again for that matter. I'm sure everyone would of said to take a year off if they knew how bad it was going to get for players.
Mon Apr 30, 2012 7:43 am
Agreed I think most of the injuries happening in the league now is because of the shortened season
Mon Apr 30, 2012 9:51 am
This is just unfortunate. Dunno what to say...
The Knicks, Magic, and now the Bulls... Imagine how much fun the playoffs would have been with those three teams healthy. I really thought the Bulls were the team to beat from East this season. But you guys are still a fine team even without Rose. See you in the ECF hopely.
Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:05 am
Without Rose, I lose complete interest in East Playoffs. Magics without Howard, Bulls without Rose and Knicks without Lin. No fun at all. In the other side, in the West maybe we can watch a Lakers-Spurs and a Clippers-Thunder series. That is great.
Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:11 am
you mean the Clippers-Grizz?

Understandable. The Heat became a major favorite over others. And until they are in danger of being eliminated, I think most people share the your current feelings toward the East. Even the Celtics are without Ray Allen though at least he's listed day to day. But I think the Heat can still be beaten by the Bulls or the Celtics. Rest, I am not too sure. The Heat will still need to stay focused and not take anything for granted.

No, Clippers-Thunder. I was talking about a potencial Conference semifinals but I made a mistake with the bracket. Thats series are only possible in a Conference Finals.

Agreed that Matchup is a great match to watch

Sam Smith suggests a
more optimistic outlook, fingers crossed that's how it will come to pass. As much as it sucks right now, as long as he can make a full recovery and still be a star in the league then it's not all doom and gloom. As for this series, they'll just have to rally and put in a great team effort. I'd like to see them go as far as they can even having been dealt this blow.

Oh man... the Sixers could beat the roseless Bulls easily if only they had someone who's at least not laughable at the center position, cause now they have Spencer fucking Hawes. He can't make jumpshots, he can't make layups, he can't play defense, he fouls every time he tries to get a rebound. I'm sick and tired of watching this guy. I sure hope he's not getting re-signed after this season. I'm surprised Vucevic isn't getting any playing time. He can't be any worse than Hawes, and Lavoy Allen... well, he's just Lavoy Allen. As it is, Holiday, Brand and Iggy's dunks aren't gonna be enough. We're at least supposed to play good defense, but that's ruined by Joakim Noah who apparently decided to destroy Philly with his awkward jumpshots tonight. I don't remember him doing that before, but I watch the Bulls pretty much only when they play the Sixers. Hoping his little lucky streak ends and the Sixers somehow win this game in the 2nd half.
Wed May 02, 2012 12:21 pm
With 5 minutes left it looks like it's gonna be over and Philly will tie this thing up. Thinking about it Philly could be scary, if the Bulls don't steal one in Philly, but I don't think they can beat Boston, who just took Game 2 from Atlanta.
Wed May 02, 2012 12:27 pm
But with rose gone, i think its safe to say that miami will reign the east once again.
Wed May 02, 2012 12:37 pm
Damn, what a crazy 2nd half. Now if Philly can defend their home court, they're in the 2nd round. Should be a more interesting series than anyone would've thought.
Mavs4Life wrote:but I don't think they can beat Boston, who just took Game 2 from Atlanta.
In the regular season the Sixers won 2 of 3 games against the Celtics and they were both well after the ASG, which means Boston was already on a roll. The Sixers were still leading the Atlantic then and both of those times the Celtics could have taken over the division lead with a win, but came up short. Obviously, they eventually did anyway, but I think the Sixers stand a chance against Boston if they can get past the Bulls, the matchups are not that bad for Philadelphia. And Boston is one of the few teams that won't horribly outrebound the Sixers.
Wed May 02, 2012 12:44 pm
The Bulls stopped doing everything they did in the first half to get their lead, that was a terrible performance. The Bulls have to play defense, attack inside out and out rebound, they did none of that. They have three days to figure it out...
