Dirk still has tons to learn from Kobe Bryant. Besides, one lucky game doesn't erase a history of choking and terrible playoff play, unlike Kobe's peerless record.

End of any racist discussion.

Game 1 was streamed live on nba.de FOR FREE and I missed it...On the other hand, nice game for both Dirk and Durant. But I guess it could have been a closer contest if the refs weren't so petty.
No Westbrook-Kidd mismatch so far. Nice.

Seems like someone forgot about 81. Or even all the other facts that were laid out in the Scamavericks/Lakers thread.
And Jordan faced a bunch of crap that never won any titles. Plus Jordan had Pippen and Rodman and Horace Grant and so on. Kobe's had to topple the Celtics and Spurs alone. Plus the media and the league and refs were all on Jordan's side, unlike Kobe who has to fight them off constantly as they try to ruin his career and personal life out of sheer jealously of his talent and ideal family.
He's the evolution of Jordan, Jordan v2.0. He's Jordan if Jordan had a three point shot and rebounding plus a bunch of bug fixes. Look at their head to head matchups, Kobe destroys him. Kobe wouldn't have given up like Jordan did either. He would have kept winning titles in 1994, 1995 and kept playing after 1998. And he never would have come back to play for some crappy rival, he's loyal to the Lakers.
Oh, and Derrick Rose: zero rings.
All the Scamavericks/Blunder/Defeat/NoBalls fans can enjoy their asterisk.
