No , not for Amar'e for Shaq . . .
Sat May 23, 2009 10:10 pm
Fair enough. I'd probably still ask for more, but no chance they'd get Howard for Shaq at this point of his career.
Sun May 24, 2009 5:12 am
No way Mark Cuban will trade Josh Howard for Shaq .
Dampier - Stackhouse and Antoine Wright for Shaq . . .
Sun May 24, 2009 5:23 am
I think Phoenix would DEFINITELY reject that offer, just because they would have to take Dampier's fugly contract, which will run through the 10/11 season as well, so they would definitely miss the 10' frenzy(well, not like they would have a big cap space anyway, but they would have smaller chances to keep Amar'e then). While Shaq's contract runs out after this season, it will get a big cap relief for them(if they would like him back, they could just sign him, but I think it would be a much smaller contract).

Can Shaq opt out of his Contract !?
Sun May 24, 2009 6:18 am
No, his contract will just run out after this year and even if he could, I can't see why would he want to do that.
Sun May 24, 2009 6:23 am
It's all up to him . A chance for a 5th ring ( Championship run ) or the $ 20 + Million Cold Hard Cash . . .
Sun May 24, 2009 6:29 am
I'd take the cash... He's proven enough in the NBA.
Sun May 24, 2009 6:38 am
Yeah , If I'm him . . . I'll take the Benjamins !
Ok , What about Kidd !?
Where is the best place for him to sign !?
Sun May 24, 2009 6:42 am
Rumors were that he might go to Cavs or Lakers, but that depends more of success in the playoffs. Both these teams would need him, it's more ''Who's willing to spend'' type of question here.
Sun May 24, 2009 6:50 am
Hmmm , Cavs !?
That's sounds quite good . We'd see a lot of lobs for James if that happens .
Lakes !? Dunno . . . Farmar , Fish , Brown . . . ( bla !3x )
Sun May 24, 2009 6:55 am
Brown is more of a SG, and Fisher isn't the same guy he was few years ago anymore. His retirement is very close. Lakers would need him more, Cavs might use him more efficiently because of his D and 3pt ability. It's a toss-up right now. We have to wait how it will turn out in these playoffs.
Sun May 24, 2009 7:06 am
The Cavs had interest in him last year . . . Too bad the Cavs can't match Kidd's salary . . . ( also for Kidd )
He should've signed with the Spurs a few years ago . . .

Chicago-Dallas-Phoenix !?
Sending Amar'e to the Bulls makes more sence so...
I tryed for almost 20 minutes and I managed this trade... quite weird but it makes a bit of sense
Opinions?

Your trade makes sense but why J-Rich in Memphis !?
Mayo-Mayo-Mayo . . .
Sun May 24, 2009 2:11 pm
How about this !?
Eddy Curry and Chris Hunter for Jerry Stackhouse and Shawne Williams !?
Jerry Stackhouse's Contract will expire 2 years from now and I know New York is interested in expiring contracts for the 2010 OffSeason , While the Mavs need a Center who's a threat .
This trade will be a win-win situation for both teams .
Sun May 24, 2009 3:47 pm
Sounds like someone has been spending too much time as the GM in NBA Live...

No, that trade won't work. If you said that Stack's contract will expire 2 years from now, his contract will expire in 2011, not 2010, so the Knicks will miss the "heavenly" offseason of 2010.
Sun May 24, 2009 4:38 pm
2011 !?
Do you think they'll sign David Lee back !?
Sun May 24, 2009 4:43 pm
Yes, they should re-sign Lee. But if NYK will re-sign Krypto-nate, Lee would have to go somewhere.

I said 2011 because you said that Stack's contract will expire in 2 years. You should have said that his contract will expire next year.

Are they R.F.A.'s ( Restricted Free Agents ) !?

Lee and Robinson are both restricted free agents, yes.
Sun May 24, 2009 8:11 pm
And both will need a lot of money to keep them around. I guess it's more likely that they will keep Lee and try to get someone in 2010.
Sun May 24, 2009 8:15 pm
Whoever they end up targeting (since LeBron seems a lot less likely right now), they'll need a couple of other good players in place not only to win once that marquee free agent comes on board but also to entice them in the first place. To that end I expect they'll look to re-sign one of them and most likely it will be Lee, though some of the trade rumours this year suggest he's not untouchable so it's not really set in stone that he's in their future plans.
