Yes
Did you also hear Charles' comment to Kenny before they went to the commercial break?
I think it went something like..
Kenny: "Join us here on TNT with the experts for an in-depth post-game analysis of Game 4 of the Orlando-Boston series"
Charles (with the TNT transition music/screens playing already): "We're not experts kenny."
Lmfao. yeaaa those moments right after each other put a little chuckle in me. Just thought I'd like to share haha.

Out of all people Big Baby hitting the buzzer

I could just keep on watching it.

Awesome shot. Too bad ESPN Australia's focusing on Cavs/Hawks...I certainly don't mind watching LeBron play but I'd rather see some Celtics/Magic rather than the seemingly inevitable blowout sweep of the Hawks.
Mon May 11, 2009 10:31 pm
At least you have ESPN in Australia. All I can watch here is NBA Fastbreak on ESPN America and one game per week on national TV.

If there wasn't such thing as Gamecast and game recaps on espn, I don't know what would I do...
But it's funny to see Big Baby running like that and pushing kids on the sideline..

Magic fan wants apology after Big Baby bumpThe father of the 12-year-old boy bumped by Celtics big man Glen “Big Baby” Davis after Sunday’s game-winning shot is demanding an apology.
Ernest Provetti told the Orlando Sentinel that he wrote the NBA office demanding an apology from Davis for acting like a “raging animal with no regard for fans’ personal safety.” NBA spokesman Tim Frank confirmed the league received the e-mail but declined to comment on it.
Fair enough in my opinion. That's not to demonise Glen Davis but I can understand the fan's point of view.

Rajon Rondo getting triple doubles, and now Big Baby hitting clutch shots. What's next?

This blog raised a point
an excited professional athlete accidentally bumping into your son at a sporting event?
Players know the risk of sitting near the sidelines/court, fans should too.
But the father
dropped his demands already.

All classic, shadow. The third one,

.
I hope they put that as a signature move for Shaq on Live 2010 and NBA 2K10.

Yeah, I see the point raised there but it's not exactly a player tumbling into the stands after a loose ball, the push wasn't really necessary and if someone Big Baby's size pushing a 12 year old kid makes him cool...well, I don't get that. Again, not to demonise Davis but as one of the first few comments on that very blog pointed out, the kid wasn't really in his path so it wasn't likely he accidentally collided with him because the kid got in his way. Maybe the father did overreact (but hey, at least it shows he gives a damn about his kid) but it still strikes me as unnecessary on Davis' part. It doesn't look like anything will come of it though so I guess we all move on and get back to the more important story, the 2-2 series tie.

Too bad he wasn't watching his kid when it happened though
Tue May 12, 2009 11:20 pm
Ah well, can't watch them every second of every minute of every day and all that. I suppose he wasn't counting on his son being pushed by a 6'9", 289 pound man, next time he'll know better.

But yeah, I've taken it further than I need to, it's not my gripe after all. I think Davis went a bit overboard on the sideline but if the kid's OK, no harm done.
Tue May 12, 2009 11:21 pm
That angle from which Davis' push was caught on camera doesn't say much though. It seems that a part of the kid is sticking out in Davis' path, instinct took over and Davis knowing the fatass that he is may have been trying to get the kid out of his way because he's about to celebrate! We can only speculate though on what Davis saw as he was running behind the ref.
Tue May 12, 2009 11:24 pm
True, you've got to give him that. Perhaps he should've gone over to the kid and said something at the time but if he's OK then I suppose it doesn't need to go any further. Had he injured the kid then I think he'd be obliged to make some sort of gesture though.

So, what if this kid turns out to be the next Hitler?
Wed May 13, 2009 3:38 am
Then the fate of humanity lies with our savior, Big Baby.

Good point. Hindsight is always 20/20 I guess.
In any event Davis
apologised which was the professional thing to do even if the "complaint" is being dropped, hopefully water under the bridge for all concerned.
Wed May 13, 2009 12:37 pm
wow! celtics win!
Wed May 13, 2009 12:40 pm
Celts win, very impressive, i wanna see them take out Orlando. But when they get to LeBron, they wouldn't be so impressive.
