Hey. This series isn't over!
Wed Apr 29, 2009 2:40 pm
Damn, it isn't over, right on.
Lowry with two stupid fouls in critical stretch in 4th quarter, and Brooks trying bit too hard alone. How can you allow 15-0 run in 4th quarter and expect to win? It was a tight game unlike scoreboard says though.

This reminds me of me of when my other favorite team, the Raptors had a breakout season and homecourt in the first round. Hopefully they don't mess up like El Calderon did and take game 6.
GO BLAZERS
Wed Apr 29, 2009 6:15 pm
Well, it's not over yet.

Great win by the Blazers, they deserve the credits they're dued.

It's David Stern's plan though, let Portland win this game so that the NBA can sell more tickets in game 6 at the Toyota Center.

Seriously speaking though, it was a hard fought game and that's the way this series has been except for game 1.
GO ROCKETS
Thu Apr 30, 2009 12:56 pm
Fuck the Rockets.
Thu Apr 30, 2009 5:41 pm
I bet T-Mac is wishing that Portland will win this series.
GO THUNDER!
Thu Apr 30, 2009 6:55 pm
Whoever wins the next game, I think is going to win the series.
Go YAO & ARTEST and bit of SCOLA!

What is your problem? I am a big Houston fan
and a Portland fan too and I dont go about saying bad things about Portland just because I dont like them or because they're playing Houston in the first round. I give full credits to Portland everytime they win because they deserve it. And to add to that I will never insult any team just because they're up 3-1 or 3-2 against my favourite team. Even if Portland managed to come all the way back to beat Houston 4-3 I wont curse them or say such things but will blame the team I'm rooting for instead for not putting in enough effort to win and making mistakes which eventually hurt themselves. If Houston gives you a hard time then I feel sorry for you but I dont think what you said was necessary.

Go YAO & ARTEST and bit of SCOLA!
Of course, if Houston win tonight's game then they'll obviously take the series.

Well, the Rockets certainly will since they're up 3-2.

If the Blazers pull even and force seven though I'd agree all bets are off.

I hope that there will be no Game 7. Houston should finish it today or else, they will have a hard time in Game 7.
GO HOUSTON!
Fri May 01, 2009 2:08 pm
How sweet it is! I feel so wonderful right now, I'm just going to enjoy this moment of silence.
Fri May 01, 2009 2:37 pm
Congrats to the Rockets, though a second round matchup with the Lakers isn't much of a prize. Best of luck to them though.
Fri May 01, 2009 3:34 pm
And so...T-Mac remains a second round virgin.
I guess I was rooting for the Blazers because I thought they'd be a better matchup against the Lakers, but whatever I guess...
Fri May 01, 2009 4:18 pm
Don't worry, T-Mac is busy reading
fashion magazines and doing
stupid promos for ESPN
Fri May 01, 2009 8:17 pm
YAY!!! HOUSTON ADVANCE TO THE SECOND ROUND AFTER 12 YEARS!!

Well it's ok
T-Time3, I'm sure McGrady is proud of his players.
Fri May 01, 2009 8:46 pm
Mavericks Fan, nice pic although I can recall that Artest's picture was from a Houston-Dallas game and you chopped Roy in.

T-MAC remains a second round virgin, but his team advancing without him will get him thinking as to why they managed to win without him. If he's back healthy he'll learn from this experience and hopefully turn into an even better player all around.
Fri May 01, 2009 9:10 pm
oh hell yea for the correct prediction!
Fri May 01, 2009 9:15 pm
Where do people feel T-Mac belongs in this team now? Is he still the main guy or are Yao and Ron the leaders and T-Mac needs to come back and learn to back them up?
Sat May 02, 2009 12:00 am
Nah, I think T-Mac should stop tearing his calves, breaking his back and lying on a stretcher every season.
Congrats to the Rockets, at last they made it past the first round.

It depends how he bounces back from his surgery. With his health this year he definitely wasn't in any condition to be the top guy but if he makes a full recovery and finds a way to stay healthy I think he can still be a significant player. If Houston keeps all three of them the ideal would be for them to play much the same as Boston's big three, in sync and any one of them able to take the lead and step up when necessary when they're all healthy and out on the floor.
