Forget Bron or Japanese steak. Give Wade a MVP trophy.
Anyone watched the game tonight? Game winning runner 3 to go along with 48 points 12 assists 3 blocks 6 boards. I heard as soon as announcer said "this is usually a play where Wade comes up with a big steal or block.", Wade comes up with a steal with 11 seconds on the clock to hit a game winning running 3 pointer. Wade's a monster!
Too bad, career high from Gordon went overshadowed in losing efforts. Just WOW. Ben was almost right there neck to neck against Wade. Sorry Andrew, but we take this one.

Too bad 43 isn't his career high.

great win and AWESOME game, Wade is a true MVP. Kobe and LeBron doesn't encrease their team's records much, but Wade did, from 15 to 34 with 20 games left in the season... no comments

Well, with 15 wins there's a lot more room for improvement especially when Wade is healthy from start to finish. The Cavs have topped last year's record already with plenty of time to go (and could go from 45 wins to 60+ wins) while the Lakers are also on pace to top last year's 57 wins and possibly reach the mid 60s; hardly small feats.

i agree, but if we talk about level of influence on the team by a star player, i thinkg Wade's level and job he does is much more valueble that LBJ's and kobe's this season!

Both Wade and Lebron are important to their teams, but giving the MVP award to Wade over LBJ? No.
Wade does make the Heat better, but LBJ makes the Cavs a lot better. Stop being such a homer.

wade is my fav player and heat is my fav team but i cant say wade is mvp... There are players in the nba who are worth mvp more this year.

can't believe in it, what should a guy do to earn the mvp when he has not a top level team around him? he wins games by himself, he has best stats in the league!

I disagree. In my opinion Wade definitely deserves the MVP award this season. If you watch a Heat game, once DWade is on the bench, the guys on the floor practically can't get a shot off. Without him, his team would be battling the franchise low in wins last season, while with him playing this well, they not only play for a Playoff berth but homecourt advantage.
I'd say what LeBron has got as supporting cast better than Wade makes the difference in their records. I don't think the Cavs' record would be much different if Wade and James switched team, honestly.
Never got why the MVP has to come from a top 4 or 5 team.

Thats what i wanted to say... to be honest i think wade makes more for his team than any other player at the moment , but heat dont have enough wins to be able to earn mvp for any player of theyr team.
Only the players who are from teams in 1-5 places in the nba gets mvp

That even sounds dumb. They don't have enough wins to get somebody on the team an individual award?
What if Wade averaged 45/15/10 over the season and his team record would improve only slightly. He still wouldn't get it?

Of course Wade deserves to be in the conversation, same as Paul and Howard. Should he win? We'll see. But if he keeps up his post all-star play (36/6/11) the rest of the season, he'll easily be a legitimate contender to LeBron.

It's hard to argue for Wade's MVP worthness with Miami's woeful record compared to Lakers or Cavaliers, but individually, Wade has been as much impressive as Lebron and Kobe this year. Only recent trend of team record affecting MVP award will play as some negative factors for Wade's case. As for Lebron, I do think he deserves it so far in this season regardless of Wade's value to the Heat. However, only if Wade can continue to come up with these great figures that could translate to many more wins... I think we will have some serious competition in voting.

Unless they go 16-3 for their last games and reach at least 50 wins, LeBron already got it in his bag as I see it.
The record shouldn't mean that much for the MVP voting, really.
