good one, looks like you pulled a benji on me! Anyway, point blank, I stand corrected when I said that MJ is underrated defensively. Let me ask you this though: In your opinion, what do you think about Tim Duncan's defense?

MJ ftw.

I'd say he's underrated by a select group of people who categorise him as nothing more than an overrated ballhog who only succeeded due to a massive conspiracy. Aside from that, I'd say his defensive prowess is sometimes overlooked but only because offense tends to dominate the highlight reels.

The first time I have learn the legacy of MJ, I though that he was not a great defender but I learn that he really was a great defender. If I am not mistaken he his the first MVP to win a DPOY award?

Alonzo Mourning - A true Warrior

Kobe Bryant - Still on top

Dwyane Wade - Refreshing player to watch, overall very talented. (He's crossover isnt that good, he just intimidates his opponents so they go the wrong way :P)

Tracy McGrady - For always being forgotten in LeBron-Kobe-Wade discussions, but still putting up solid numbers.

Chris Paul - There's just something about him.

Mount Mutumbo - 42 years old, Strong as hell, slow as hell. "Dont make me run, coach. I've run for 20 years!". He just wont give up. 17 years in the league?!
"OJ Mayo, OJ Mayo! Have you found the REAL killer, yet??"

I didn't even pull a benji on you. I just showed you normal run of the mill stats, and not benji stats. To answer your question, Duncan's defense is...

Shadowgrin,

True, there's no better guy on here who can do stats like benji can. I commend you for pulling those stats, they're not by no means run-of-the-mill though. To be named consistently to the All-Defensive team as many times as Duncan has and MJ has is quite impressive.

Kobe Bryant! Love his game and beginning to love his attitude. He's really maturing now.

MJ. I remember watching NBA on TV when I was 8 (it was the 97/98 season), he was and still is my favorite player ever. I've got plenty of basketball stickers, posters and magazines and most of them include the Air. I remember his final shot in the 97/98 Finals game 6 @ Utah... He was a beast.
