Thompson is a surprising but solid pick. Guaranteed talent and consistency... no speculation. He's a senior and has proven that he can play.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:39 am

Portland Trail-Blazers select Brandon Rush.
Not a bad pick IMO, They need a punch at SF.
Since Outlaw has yet to show his true talent.

BTW is it just me, or the forums is f**ked up right now

Yeah , I'm getting errors too

Rush to Portland.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:42 am

Yeah, forum is messin' up.

Rush is a very solid pick. He's a little small for a 3, but he can be a great 6th man/ or even share minutes with Outlaw or such. Portland is going to be interesting to watch... it's a very powerful young core.

They could trade for a veteran though... don't be surprised if Jack is thrown out of town.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:42 am

Nop, it's the forum.
A surprise pick I must say. Thompson was totally under my radar.
Where's Randolph, I think he's gonna get drafted soon

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:43 am

GS Warriors select ANTHONY RANDOLPH (Y)

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:45 am

Golden State should draft Koufos... they need another big, and he fits perfectly in the rotation with his shooting.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:47 am

There he is.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:48 am

Just gonna watch 2 more picks: Phoenix and Philly, then go to sleep(4AM), I have to wake up pretty early, I will see then. Hopefully a lot of interesting trades will be pulled off.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:50 am

Suns have selected ROBIN LOPEZ

there goes the nets brothers combo

Fri Jun 27, 2008 10:53 am

Interesting pick by Phoenix, Lopez. Robin was only 5 picks away from his brother. Hoping to see Philly drafting Jordan or Greene. Will see...

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:03 am

Yeah, the forums are fucked for me too..
Philly selects Mareese Speights (spell check?)
T-Dot selects Roy Hibbert for Indiana.
And Darrell Arthur is most likely going to be the steal of the draft?

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:06 am

I'm still waiting for DeAndre Jordan... I'm a Magic fan, and I'm gonna go run around the streets naked if the Magic manage to land him.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:08 am

Apparently the Pacers just traded Bayless for Rush to the Blazers...

WTF?

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:11 am

^^It hasn't been approved yet. It's just proposed, but it will likely be accepted.
It'll also send Jarrett Jack to Indiana and Ike Diogu to Portland.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:13 am

Isn't Kareem Rush a Pacer?

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:14 am

Yep. So the Brother's hook up.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:15 am

Awesome, thanks for the details, I've been looking for those. I guess that my hunch about Jack being traded worked out.

Still a shame to see them loose Bayless, but I guess that they really wanted Jack.

(Cleveland drafts Hickson... which is kinda odd... but hey... I'm just rooting for my Magic here... we can still score Chaimers or Koufus if Jordan gets drafted)

It's rookie Brandon Rush, not Kareem. That's his brother ;)
Anyway, Charlotte's on the clock now. I see them taking Arthur as a backup to Okafor.

EDIT: Charlotte selects Alexis Ajinca from France. A center with a 7"8 wingspan.
Wow, Arthur still hasn't been drafted yet.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:26 am

Man the Nets have a lot of frontcourt now. Simmons, Yi, Lopez, Anderson, they are really loving the bigs. Still can't believe Arthur is still there

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:27 am

Magic better pick Jordan, or at least Arthur...

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:32 am

Courtney Lee?

Who the flying fuck is Courtney Lee, and what will he be doing in Magic uniform?

Another scoring shooting guard... great...just....great...

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:33 am

Magic select.. Courtney Lee?
This is real surprising. How is Darrell Arthur still there?
He was a projected lottery pick going into the draft.
Suddenly, that all changes.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:36 am

I just hope that the Jazz don't choose Arthur, poor guy shouldn't have to sit through showerfun lessons taught by the retired John Stockton and Karl Malone.

EDIT: Koufos is a steal for the Jazz at this pick and fits their playing style perfectly.

Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:39 am

Utah Jazz select.. Kosta Koufos.
Not a bad pick since Utah doesn't have a real backup to Okur.
I hope Seattle drafts Arthur. He'd easily get some decent playing time with them.

EDIT:
Sonics select Serge Ibaka. Bad pick on their behalf since he's likely to stay in his home country. (Congo)
