This was 2 years ago, we're 62 now (as of after Olympics). Comparing soccer and basketball rankings aren't actually very comparable, well, maybe the front is, but not the back. There are about 75 countries listed in basketball, while in soccer there are over 200 countries. And soccer rankings aren't very accurate (e.g. two weeks ago we played Equatorial-Guinea, who was supposed to quite even with us, based on rankings, but they really weren't).

We should/could be even better,
but our team doesn't ever seem to be able to use it's full potential .

You can now panic .

Thailand is 69? I thought we would be lower than that. We're actually in the top 100! Yay!

Hong Kong 53? That's amazing, seeing how small we are. Still, we suck. (At almost every sport except table tennis)

Yes why is Hong Kong ranked 53 ?
Our National Team can totally kick their ass . . .

Do you guys even bother to read the original post? Look at the date.

Did our rank went up !?

How long have you been using the internet MikeDwyane? There's this wonderful thing called
Google.To answer your question,
no (after Olympics 2008).
Wed Jun 24, 2009 1:19 am
I have a slow internet connection so I'm lazy going back in my homepage which is google and searching again which would take about 4-6 good minutes . . .
We didn't go up !?
Lame . . .
Wed Jun 24, 2009 1:43 am
You're bullshitting again MikeDwyane. Google gets loaded faster than the NLSC, in most cases.
A rough measure of the
time of your posts shows about 3-5 minutes before each post, 2 minutes minimum at best. We can assume them as your loading times for invidual sessions/windows/tabs only (even if you have simultaneous sessions open and waiting all of it to load at the same time, the number of sessions would still cut through the loading time and extend the minutes).
To repeat what I said, Google gets loaded faster than the NLSC, so I doubt how going to your homepage and searching again would be difficult because of the long load time. Google displaying the search results doesn't take long either (unless it's images/video you are searching).

Maybe he's using Dial-Up.
Wed Jun 24, 2009 7:35 pm
Even so, it still doesn't explain how him loading up Google and searching is slower than loading up the NLSC. Read my post again. What type of connection he has has very little to do with it.

Latvia at 33. Not so bad, I guess.
Although based on last few exhibition games, we could move up few spots after European championship (or whatever it's called). OT loss against Serbia and split against Lithuania (5 and 6 in the ranking) isn't too bad. I'm not saying that it means something though.

Were rank 53? That's a surprised

We increased from 6o plus something last year then went down again, as shown in the recent ranking.

Hey, on bright side, hasn't Phillipine beat Korea recently in Asia tourney or whatever?

We lost to Jordan and got eliminated in the FIBA-Asia qualifiers for the WC.

The ratings for top 20 all seem pretty fair to me.
