Glad to see there are more GS trusted fans in this forum other than me :D

I think the Warriors can be good next season, problem is, the West is way too tough to tolerate an emerging new playoff contender. If we played in the East, I'd be talking about first round homecourt advantage now.

Drafting a big guy like Bogut could certainly help, although I do not believe he'll fall below the #3 pick. Chris Taft I just don't trust, plus Murphy is not cut out for the C position. But then again, neither is Amare Stoudemire and look at his numbers...

I believe acquiring Baron Davis( whoever gave him that stupid B-Diddy nick anyway???) was a risk, but a risk that had to be taken. Let's hope the front office can follow it up with some good moves in the off-season, and bring back playoff games to Oakland. (:crosses fingers:)

Judging from a couple of sigs, I think it's safe to say that there are at least two other GS loyalists. Three with me, then.

Hah, the community is growing. Welcome to the flock, my brethren

I was impressed with the GS crowd last week against the Kings. They have one of the better crowds I have heard.

"D-FENCE, DUM DUM DUM"... that's what I've heard or like in baseball, "Let's go Marlins" and stuff like that.

It's nothing compared to football crowds in Italy, Spain or England, if that's what you're thinking. :P

Biedrins: 12 points, 10 rebounds, 27 minutes, I liked this guy in the draft, and was hoping if the Raptors went for a big man, they'd go after him. We've got Araujo though, YAY, Araujo is 6 years older and producing about the same numbers.

I've been a Warriors fan for 6 years, and I have to say this is the best I have seen them play in a long time.

Biedrins first start and he puts up a double-double, they really need to have him start more often.

Let's not forget that the man pulling the strings of the franchise is GM Chris Mullin. His decisions in the offseason and not only will have a huge effect on the Warriors' hopes of bringing palyoffs back to Oakland.

Here's an interesting article:

Yea, theres a few of us fans, but alot of "new" fans out there. I goto www.goldenstwarriors.com to talk warriors.

I see a huge potential for the warriors next season. Alot of people are forgetting our 5 mil excemption that we got in the Cliff Robinson trade so not only are we gonna get a top 5 pick, we also get to work a trade in the offseason.

BTW: Jrich is one of the most underrated players in the league. He couldnt even make the allstar game and his numbers are better than both ginobilis and rashard lewis's.

true, but Ginobili has to share the ball with Duncan and Parker while Lewis has Ray Allen on the same team. IMO J-Rich is better than Manu and Lewis, it's just the team's record that held him out of the ASG.

There's no way J-Rich is better than Manu.

Richardson does not have 3pt range.
Manu has a much bigger basketball IQ and is a better defender.

Don't even start talking about team chants for any sports unless you mention the Eagles hear in Philly. And on subject, I agree with Jona. But J-Rich could easily get into the ASG if he started playing incredibly well, he is still a great player.

J-Rich is a team star by default, something Manu will never be. If defences did not open up because of Duncan's presence he probably wouldn't be anywhere near his current numbers.

Richardson does not have 3pt range.

Then why is he hitting 1.8 3s per game?(Granted, it's at
33%.)

Manu has a much bigger basketball IQ and is a better defender.

I agree, that's why he makes for a better COMPLIMENTARY player...

Just because he can dunk hard and shoot 20 friggin shots per night doesn't mean he's a superstar. It's not my fault GS doesn't have REAL star players.

Then, why is Manu hitting 1.3 3s at 38%?
Manu attempts 3.5 while Richardson attempts 5.3 per night.
Quite a difference, huh?

I agree, that's why he makes for a better COMPLIMENTARY player...

Nah, you're just jealous GS doesn't have a real supastar.
You would LOVE to have Manu in there, wouldn't cha teammate? :cheeky:

I'd take J Rich as the 'star' and Manu as the complementary player. J Rich has the potential to be HUGE.....I'm talking in the same breath as Kobe.....he certainly has the tools....just needs to work on them.
