before bosh had the injury, trading him to clear cap to sign Wade and Whiteside made sense. trading dragic is a bold move but i think i think it's worth exploring.
i think deng may be more important overall than joe johnson but 3pt shooting will be lacking. and what position is winslow being groomed to play??
There are quite a few teams with needs of PG this year and Dragic's fitment with Wade has been questionable. So trading Dragic seems like the most viable option to retain both Wade and Whiteside at the moment. It'd be nice to get something more than a pick in return tho, perhaps Tony Parker?
Price difference between Joe Johnson and Luol Deng will be significant. Joe Johnson having been a max player previously and nearing the end of his career, probably can be convinced to take minimum to very little as he seemed to like the city and organization. JJ probably was seeking for a long term marriage when he decided to come to Heat over Cavs and other contenders.
Winslow is a wing, a SF but can be part time small ball PF. He would defend multiple positions small to semi big, run hard in transition, occasional 3s and drive ins. He's probably at least couple years away from becoming a good player tho.
