I got my breakout game by Bridges :-)

This is the first knicks team we have had in years that are a joy to watch, like you said Jeff the ball movement is great and the whole vibe works together.

Knicks fans from the late 90s early 00s may agree with me here but OG and Bridges remind me so much if Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell

KAT on some levels is like Patrick Ewing and Mitch definitely is Marcus Camby 2.0

KAT like Ewing? Maybe some shots, but he needs way more blocks! :D

Yeah iam thinking more along the lines of a big that can shoot and rebounding, his rim protection and overall defence are not on the same level but KAT is the best center since Pat.

Could even call him KATrick Ewing lol.

KAT plays nothing like Ewing. Their games are night a day.

Ewing was a mid-range assassin with an incredibly strong back to the basket game. KAT is a set shooter who likes to hang out behind the three point line. KAT is also not in the same conversation (not even close) defensively.

Watching them play, I would never even consider comparing the two. In my opinion they play nothing alike.

I do see some similarities though...maybe that's what mp3 meant. Both are tall and can't just dunk or score under the basket, but have a good shooting touch with jumpers etc.

Why doesn't Towns play? The Pistons with the lead with 2 minutes to go...and why?
17/35 from downtown...48.6%...same as the huge loss vs. Boston...as soon as we don't shoot well OR the other team drains a lot of threes, we are lost.

I only watched the last quarter because I came home late.

There was a special alumni celebration at halftime. Do you know where I can show it to friends? Recording your screen with e.g. OBS does not work as it only records a black screen...maybe some kind of copyright protection so you cannot record and forward official NBA streams (league pass).

I was meaning more on a comparison to the 99 team more than anything, Ewing of course is a top 75 player to ever played in this league and there is no comparison to the two head to head in there game style but on in the numbers they put up in there respected eras, to be fair tho KAT is trying to post up more but he lacks the power that Ewing had.

You and Dee are both spot on, there are similarities in rebounding and that they could both shoot the ball but are we all know from watching Ewings era in the 90s Pat was a warrior on another level

In 1993, I picked the Knicks as my fav team because of their defense. Now they are second-to-last in this category (did not check the current stats, but some days ago). We got more blocks than usual today, but...Atlanta with 22 offensive rebounds...and an alley oop show. As soon as our shots don't fall, we are lost. We shot a higher percentage than Atlanta, but....they grabbed 22 offensive rebounds.

Yeah this is where we need Mitch back in a hurry, KAT is the only one rebounding most games unless Josh Hart is crashing the boards hard but he's 6.4 and as for blocking there isn't much rim protection going on.

Tough loss to the Hawks here

Watching that Hawks game was sickening - defense & rebounding was pitiful. And it's a painful reminder losing iHart really hurt the Knicks. He's killing it in OKC. Leon Rose has to make some moves and get a rim protector...can't rely on Robinson.

iHart's stats; 11.6 ppg, 12.8 boards, 4.5 assists, 55.4 FG%...we could use that right now

Hands down Jeff we need a legit rim protector, Mitch is that but he's ALWAYSSSSS injured so I think we make a move for Walker or Nick Richards sooner rather than later

What a performance by Bridges on Christmas Day. He was great, but I have to show love for Josh Hart. That cat does all the little things that don't show up in the box score, but they help you win. Knicks are 20-10, third in the conference. If Leon Rose can somehow get another rim protector, we will be sitting pretty come playoff time.

This loss showed one thing....Knicks aren't beating the top echelon teams by just playing 6 guys. They need a bench, along with rim protection.

The best ability is availability, which doesn't describe Mitch Robinson. I-Hart does all the things the Knicks miss.

Let's play the starting five 48 minutes. :(

Just rotate more...3 starting five players + 2 subs...so there won't be 4 or 5 subs on the court at once...starters should only play 35 minutes a game.

Iam a big believer in playing 10 guys myself, a bench player to replace each starter In each position

Me too...back in the 90s even stars only played 33-35 MPG...if I had something to say, I'd play the following players:

PG Bruson 35
SG Bridges 32
SF Anunoby 32
PF Hart 32
C Towns 35

PG Payne 10, Kolek 5
SG McBride 18
SF Achiuwa 18
PF Sims 15
C Hukporti 8
Shamet??? Don't now...

In NBA Live & 2k, I always used 10 players...and nobody played more than 35 MPG...if two players were equally good, the starter only played 24 minutes, the backup 24 as well...or 26-22.

If we are in front by 20, send some subs in for 2-3 minutes and not just 30 seconds.

What a bad game against the Thunder...stop shooting threes already, sub out Bridges and adjust...

This team has no depth, I feel like Thibs is half to blame here as when he does go with giving bench players extended minutes there not ready (which is on the player really) but theses players are young and the only way they can build confidence is regular playing time, with Thibs it's like you either play zero minutes or you play 15 there is not much in the middle of that and also they might play random minutes then not see the court for a month and that's not helping anyone

Some nice games, but a L as soon as the other team shoots well from 3...and...Bronny James scored in MSG! He was like 1/16 before the game.

I just Hope OG's injury isn't to bad, our defence really is needed.
