I'm guessing Speights may have re-aggravated his injury. But yeah, they've been giving the Warriors better minutes than Bogut.
Warriors up, but Mozgov still having his way.

Cavs look old and tired. Kudos to the wariors for changing things up and making a game of it.

Their "strength in numbers" slogan was evident tonight. Iguodala/Lee/Livingston with major contributions.
They got pummeled on the boards though, Lee at center with Ezeli as back up would be better than Green for Lee like the last sub. Come to think of it we haven't seen much of Green on Lebron. It was Harrison at first with Iguodala after and now the reverse of that.
Some different rotations/matchups from Kerr. This game has been the least exciting one of the bunch though. Looking forward to next game.

Ordered restored to those analysts who said GSW is winning this one. Iguodala was big in this game, Lee also had a solid game.
Fri Jun 12, 2015 1:55 pm
Guess Speights isn't injured again, then. Just out of the rotation.
2-2, essentially now a best of three with a chance at a Game 7 in Oakland. If the Warriors win it from here...who's the Finals MVP? Does anyone think they'd give it to LeBron, a la Jerry West in 1969?
Fri Jun 12, 2015 1:58 pm
After this series win or lose LeBron will have one of the most impressive Finals performance ever. But I think if the lose he will not win the FMVP they'll give it to Curry perhaps because the media loves Curry.
Fri Jun 12, 2015 2:10 pm
Even if they don't give it to him, the guy is balling. Historical numbers and you can choose to give the trophy to whoever but to me he'll be the MVP regardless.
This is a Michael Jordan in Space Jam with the Looney Toons kind of performance.
Fri Jun 12, 2015 5:14 pm
if curry wins the finals MVP it will be a disgrace. unless he goes for 40+ the next 2 games on 90% shooting he better not win it
Fri Jun 12, 2015 5:53 pm
Right now it has to go to LeBron. Nobody else came even close to his performances so far.
Golden State needs more from Curry and Thompson.
Cleveland needs J.R. Smith to pick it up, 2-12 is... well 2-12. Delly should take less shots and play more point. Maybe Miller could go into Beast Mode like in Game 5 of 2012 Finals.
And of course, LeBron had poor shooting night, being below 33%. Still managed to near triple-double.
Fri Jun 12, 2015 6:04 pm
If it has to go to a player from the winning team - and apart from the very first award in 1969 when West got it, tradition dictates that it does - then should the Warriors prevail, I think it has to be Iguodala.
Or maybe they can just give it to the Warriors' entire starting five, so it's the team that takes credit for an individual award.
Fri Jun 12, 2015 6:15 pm
give it to the camera man
Fri Jun 12, 2015 6:49 pm
So, the refs can't get one?
Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:03 pm
LeBron is averaging 35.75 ppg, 12 rpg and 8.25 apg. He regularly rebounds more than Golden State big men and accumulates more assists that their guards (not combined ofc).
Should both he and Warriors continue playing like they do now, it might be a good time to break that tradition (man, that would piss of all the haters).
Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:10 pm
nonsensical
LBJ is not the Finals MVP material. I understand his fanbois want him 3 time Finals MVP to match Kobe's greatness but that'd be extremely moronic to break the tradition just for that. Give it to Curry, he's the most important piece for the best team in this world. Struggling or not, the Cavs have been spending their utmost effort to slow him down. Curry is it.
Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:32 pm
Or the NBA could just award it to the whole starting five (a la Hawks style)
Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:54 pm
What year is this, 2011? The media hate for LeBron is too much as to even make a camera man do the dirty work of physically harming LeBron. Disgusting.
The sad thing about the media propaganda against LeBron is there are fools who believe and swallow it like a 12 inch dick and still continue to hate on the the 2nd best player in the planet after Kobe.

Good point, we should give Joey Crawford his due. He officiated his 50th NBA Finals game just as well as he did the previous 49.

Joel Anthony transcends rankings. He's beyond that now, even beyond comparison in history like Darko did before him.

if they can then it dont matter what team wins because both teams have legit complaints over this horrible officiating

It's either they'll go Jerry West way or just like how they awarded the player of the month to the Hawks' starting five or they'll just give it to Pau Gasol for that year he should've won it instead of Kobe...
As I've said Iggy is capable of taking games and I like what Kerr did with Steph playing a lot of off-ball setups... Also smallball prevented the pairing of Mozgov and Thompson to stay all game so kudos to Kerr for his adjustments...
Fri Jun 12, 2015 11:17 pm
Too early for Mvp considerations should GSW win it. A lot should happen between now and the next 2 wins
Big letdown by the Cavs perimeter players. A lot of talk this morning of the Cavs players being fatigued. Questions on whether Marion or Miller should be playing more minutes
Kerr is a genius for a day. Let's see what coach blatt's adjustment will be. Cavs ball movement was good, just a lot of perimeter bricks
Green finally being able to finish in the lane on Mozgov was a big booster for him and the offense.
Fri Jun 12, 2015 11:40 pm
Cleveland got all this big men and Blatt only plays James Jones as the backup "big".
They also got veterans who have been in deep playoff runs but they're buried in the bench.
