That toss ball was thrown towards Gasol! Game is rigged! NBA and Jew Stern wants 7th game!

I'd like to know where the hell are Gasol & Odom??? Lakers are looking REAL soft, man.
Hey Sauru, get ready to light your victory cigar.

Good to see Ray Ray, KG and Pierce get rings; though I was rooting for LA.

still hard to believe, boston's bench and role players are so dominant even against lakers starters. simply pierce seems to be a counter of kobe and boston's big men seem to be a lot tougher than odom and gasol. and it's weird that there hasn't been even a single pick n roll play using gasol, odom or any other big men from lakers. lakers just go 1 vs 1 and that makes a lot easier for boston to defend. on the other hand, boston keeps using pick n roll and post up/kick out. just more plays to distract lakers D. this makes me think that suns or spurs could have done better against the celtics. i don't think even with bynum, they had better chance against the celtics. the lakers just can't seem to match against the celtics. what a stunning final. boston winning championship should boost up easteran conference morale.

Hawks > Lakers

12 more minutes baby. rondo working his ass off tonight and kg finally stepping up. pierce not shooting so well but still helping, i still say he is the MVP

Congrats to the Celtics. Turned it off when they were up 30 , this game is likely over.
I can't seem to watch any championship presentation if the Spurs or Pistons aren't hoisting the trophy...so I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow morning to see who the MVP was. The series wasn't as exciting as I had hoped either. The Lakers were often outplayed , especially away from home.

I don't think I've ever seen a player as happy as Garnett after finally winning a championship. Can't fault him though.

I was disappointed when the Celtics didn't win by 43 though; and when PP got FMVP.

Congrats to the Celtics! It's so nice to see Garnett, Allen, and Pierce win for the first time. DEFENSE! DEFENSE! DEFENSE wins championship baby!

I lied about the MVP thing , and just found out Pierce was the MVP. About previous comments , I didn't feel this series was as exciting as most of you did. I was slightly entertained , but with Boston constantly blowing the Lakers out I was kind of disappointed. I was hoping the Lakers would make it more competitive than this.

i still say it was rondo that made this game happen, the man was pure gold tonight. the entire team came together tonight and it shows what this team can do when they are all on top of thier game. ray allen turning his game around the way he did just in time, still would not have been mad if he won the finals mvp

What an emphatic victory for the Celtics to win their seventeenth championship! A closer game would have made for more drama but the Celtics were so impressive that I still found the game entertaining. I'm happy to see KG (and Pierce and Allen for that matter) finally win it all. Even if this is the only ring this outfit wins, they rolled the dice and it paid off. I expect they'll at least contend for a couple more years, even if they don't add any more banners to the rafters.
I don't expect Lakers fans to feel the same way especially with Game 6 being so lopsided but I thought it was fine end to a fantastic season. I'd much rather see a Bulls championship of course but as I said I'm happy for Garnett and co so I enjoyed the outcome all the same.

Boston deserved it. They literally came out from nothing to Champion in one try and one season. No preparation. All heart. They wanted it and they got it.
