That's odd, here i was thinking you were on the team. Silly me.

I think he was the waterboy or something. But the bottomline is; he still gets his ring.

Lol. Calm down. I was just messing. I don't know why but I felt like trolling in last couple days. I knew you before from the Heat thread that you are a long time Heat fan like myself, and Nick is a great poster that I always enjoy reading. (Y)

Sorry the response to your "joke" wasn't what you wanted, clearly it meant a lot to you. But I believe the dick is far up your ass since you took it so seriously, your bad joke was met evenly by your bad assumptions... :applaud:

It meant a lot to me? lol okies sure it did. It hurt my feeling so much i am about to cry myself to sleep

lol
Harden comes off the bench not because he sucks as a starter, he comes off the bench because the rest of the Thunder bench sucks.

Congrats to the Heat. Now the off-season drama for the Mavs begins

Congrats to the Heat winning the title. For sure one of the greatest performances by LB James we saw in the last couple of years by any player in the finals. But i can't help i dont like this team, especially since their smug behavior in the last years Finals against the Mavs and Dirk Nowitzki.

Congratulation to the Heat, maybe the one of all teams of all time that I hate the most, but it was too well deserved this time. I hope they will never ever again win a trophy though. OKC is the team to beat in the upcoming years.

Had a night to sleep on the result.

No longer do I care if Lebron has finally got a ring, I'm just disgusted how he handled before.

Waiting on John Wall now to light up the NBA with a decent coach (hopefully soon) and a decent supporting cast that doesn't have andray blatche.

I didn't watch many Heat games this year, other than the previous finals games. Do the Heat move the ball like that in most of their games? They were really sharing the ball well and making smart extra passes. The Thunder looked like they had no right to be there and were just caught staring sometimes.

Mike Breen at the end of the game said, not wrote:The Miami Heat are the twenty thousand and twelve NBA champions.

Re: 2012 NBA Finals: (2) Heat vs (2) Thunder

The Heat were definitely the better team in this series, no question about that. After I thought I'd seen everything in these finals with Battier, Chalmers and Cole playing career games, in game 5 the Thunder got destroyed by a (barely) walking amnesty that is Mike Miller. That made the difference and that's why James now will have a ring - his teammates didn't suck for once. Excluding last year's finals, he did all he could every year, but you can't win a championship all by yourself in a team sport.

It is bad though that the Thunder could have very well been up 3-1 after 4 games if it wasn't for terrible calls against them. But all in all, they didn't really deserve the title. Their play was disappointing. After the Spurs series, I thought they have learned to move the ball around and make good passes on offense, but against the Heat they went back to their iso playing and that's what they got. I hope they come back stronger next year, because it will probably be their last opportunity to win with this team (Harden's and Ibaka's rookie contracts end in 2013).

Unfortunately, Scott Brooks has proven to be pretty retarded in this series. He either guarded LeBron solo with Harden (!) or doubled him with a bigman. That, combined with playing small, resulted in nobody under the basket, the whole defense having to collapse and wide open threes for the Heat all night. He played Perkins a lot despite the fact he was only hurting the team. He put Durant on Chalmers, resulting in him getting very few rebounds. Sefolosha was being wasted.

So now, with James having a ring, the haters are still hating and the Heat bandwagoners are really becoming unbearable. Oh well. He definitely deserved it by being outstanding for the whole playoffs. And his finals performance this year was far better than any of Kobe's ones.

Can't believe one had to ditch a team to find success, instead of success being earned and finding him.

By that accounts Ben Roethlisberger is probably the BEST quarterback the NFL has ever seen.

What went 13-0 in his rookie season as a starter, reached a playoffs lost to a cheating team, in his second season at what 22/23 won a championship.

numbers lie all the fucking time.

Ben Roethlisberger is the best quarterback ever in the NFL because he won it the youngest then, behind a 26-6 record the first two seasons, he set his legacy that shat all over other quarterbacks before him. :applaud:

Basketball's harder to tell by the numbers, much fewer players and variables, most would agree that team with the most rebounds and least turnovers usually win the game, not always the case.

I don't think Lebron is better than MJ or even close at this point, but to say that he will absolutely never be in the GOAT discussion would be very stupid. I'm not saying he's better than Jordan; I'm also not saying that he can't be in the future.

What does this have to do with the impossibility that numbers can lie?

Being a Knicks fan, I detest the Heat, but I'm glad Lebron finally got his ring. He deserved criticism for the media circus, but now the hate is over the top and ridiculous. Like Stephen A. said earlier this afternoon, "people need to grow up and get some sense".

I can't believe that fat, lazy P.O.S. Eddy Curry gets a ring before Carmelo Anthony. There's no justice.

I am also happy for LeBawn but hypothetically speaking I think he's still full of himself. I guess who isn't if you've been the king every day of your life. But in his interview, he kept saying "I"s which pretty much were how he deserved it, how he wanted it so much, and how much work he put in. Ok cool. But couldn't have hurt if he shared some of that spotlight with the teammates, especially with rest of big 3 who are great friends. For instance, Wade and Bosh kept saying how they were happy for Bron. I know Bron is a good guy and a pretty cool guy off the court but certainly not the smartest one nor humbling one. Perhaps he handles it differently from closed door or a overjoy moment thing, but I somewhat couldn't avoid the feeling that Bosh and Wade were somewhat being left out on a biggest day of his life.
