Yeah at 10-12 per year which I first thought is way to much but the Blazers signing Aminu to a high price tag has really set the market price now.

So we also add Derrick Williams to Arron and RoLo.

Not what I expected from this off season but it is what it is I guess.

I am actually glad that we are not just throwing money at squares and trying to fit them into round pegs lime throwing money at Monta or Rondo

He's a decent defensive C, I'd rather have Robin than Brooke. Brooke's a sieve on D and can't stay on the court much due to injuries.

For what was left, the Knicks aren't doing terrible. They're at least trying to put together a decent line up after last seasons F-League team. But hey, we can always be happy about having an all rookie/sophomore team I guess.

Kyle O'Quinn joining the Knicks for 16 mill for 4 years. Sign and trade with Orlando.

Another serviceable player. Doesn't sound like a lottery bound team at least.

I dunno. This big man rotation doesn't sound much to me. It looks more like a big mess.

Robin Lopez
Kristaps Porzingis
Andrea Bargnani
Kyle O'Quinn
Cole Aldrich

I wouldn't have much faith in Carmelo led Knicks. This guy's still in his prime but players treat him like 40 year old Kobe and don't want to play with him.

Lopez is solid, Porzingis supposedly has potential. It could be worse.

Also, one could question the importance of traditional bigs in the current NBA landscape. We just saw two teams go small through most of the Finals, and the team that benched their starting centre ultimately ended up winning it all. Granted, those teams also have players at other positions that are better than their Knicks counterparts, but if nothing else, the lack of a star big isn't necessarily an issue. The lack of talent across the board, on the other hand...

Andrew, I'll gladly trade you NY's front office for Chicago's.

That Knick lineup is woeful.....I predict 30 wins, and that's pushing it. Another lost season coming up.........(sigh)...

I can't blame you, I'd rate them ahead of New York's front office, but it would be a different brand of frustration. ;)

Hey Andrew there's frustrating and then there's Jimmy D frustrating lol

Though he did however seem to butt out for the most part of last season and so far in free agency.

Good point. Pax may have thrown tantrums and their treatment of Thibs was disgraceful, but Dolan's in a class of his own. Well, "class" is probably not a word you want to use in the same sentence as Dolan, but you get the idea.

The Bulls are a talented team that, when healthy, are a legit contender. And they've had nice playoff runs the past few seasons. We're dying for that here in NYC, for the Knicks to be what they were during the 90s (before Cablevision and the Dolans took over).

Is Porzigins playing?

What is your expectation for the summer league? I been kinda disappointed with big names so far namely Okafor, Justise, Kalimsky. But Stanley Johnson is a nice surprise.

I hope he is , I heard he was injured so if that's true I don't want him to push it to much but on the other hand he has to prove to knicks fans that he is worth our pain and suffering for the 4th pick

I feel slightly better about the 4th pick now I can see how hungry this Zinger kid is and that he has a great motor.

He has a lot of upside for the future.

We have also brought back Lance Thomas and Sweet Lou on one year deals which I am happy about, both hustle and play very hard out there plus we needed a few more vets on the roster.

Fellow knicks fans really make me laugh, they go nuts over the knicks not throwing a ton of guaranteed money at a player that 3 weeks ago NO ONE had ever heard of (Maurice Ndor) before summer league.

Charles Barkley predicts the New York Knicks will make the playoffs

Charles Barkley is usually one of the Knicks' biggest critics, but lately he's been singing the team's praises.

During an interview with Sirius XM radio, Barkley said he predicts the New York franchise will play in the postseason.

""Carmelo is not the reason the Knicks aren't winning, he's the only reason why they're on TNT..I expect them to make the playoffs," Barkley said.

This is the second time this week that Barkley has given the Knicks credit. During Wednesday night's schedule release, the TNT analyst praised Knicks president Phil Jackson for his work acquiring players in the offseason.

“I actually disagree with all the criticism that people are giving the Knicks. I think the Knicks should be on national television this year. They actually got NBA players," he said on NBA TV, per ESPN.

"Robin Lopez is an NBA player, Arron Afflalo is an NBA player, (rookie) Jerian Grant is an NBA player.

"That’s three NBA players that they did not have last year. And they're going to get Carmelo back. [First-round draft pick Kristaps] Porzingis is going to be a good player — maybe not right now, but he's going to be a good player."

Well, he is right about that, I suppose. The Knicks do have NBA players on their roster.

No shit, Charles. Do you expect janitors to play in the Knicks roster? Knicks will be lucky if they even get to the 9th seed.
