That was dumb. Three Mavericks guarding two players.
Why bother flopping? I understand if you're actually getting hit in some way.
I hope someone bitched out LeBron for the fact he could have split and plowed through both of them with ease.

When I saw that on FB, I thoguht you had blacked out from the excitement and drinking from the game! haha

^ LeFlop.
I seriously think LeBron is the only person that could nearly get a triple-double without playing.

On the plus side for the Heat, teammates are learning from each other.Drex wrote:Is LeBron afraid of shooting? WTF is wrong with him??
He's choking, plain and simple.
So much for his proclamation of being more aggressive even before game 3.
I hope this puts to rest all these asinine Lebron/Jordan comparisons. Much as I hate his punkass, Jordan never shrunk in a Finals game.

Spoken like a true Knicks fan.

See, there's no way you can give up on them, even with Dolan's idiocy. Besides, you could still get lucky with the Pistons ending up hiring Isiah as their new coach.
And of course, I agree as far as MJ/LeBron is concerned. LeBron did take over in the Bulls series but MJ did it time and time again and as you said, didn't disappear like that in the Finals. LeBron's talent can't be disputed, but he's got to bring it all the time; he can't want to be treated like a superstar, have the basketball world tune in to a one hour special to see where he's taking the aforementioned talents and then phone it in when it matters the most. Even if the Heat do go on to win the Finals and LeBron has a couple of great games to help them do it, I'm still not sold on him as having surpassed MJ or a lot of the other greats. Pip jumped the gun on this one after LeBron beat up on the Bulls.

That's the troubling thing for Heat opponents. Even with LeBron's balls shrinking in the clutch the Heat were still able to keep the game close and even had a chance to win it. What more if him and Wade learned how to perform in the clutch simultaneously?

Exactly. Same applies to Kobe(see last year's Game 7 vs. Boston). These cats are great, no doubt, but they will NEVER be the player Jordan was. Let's stop the madness with all these comparisons already!

Game 4 of the 2008 Finals where the Lakers blew that 24 point lead deserves a mention as well. That was a baffling collapse.

This. One of the memorable games in the history of basketball and of mankind itself.

Every basketball fan remembers where they were when that happened. That was a great time where men were men and bitches were bitches.
This is why I think LeBron should have been the inbounds passer instead of that idiot Mike Miller.

It's not chicken soup, it's Wheaties. Mavs with a face-paced start. Must-win here.

What is better than chicken soup? Making jump shots. - Great line.

How does Marion do those little hook shots off the spin? God, it must be so hard to guard him. He's gotta be the most awkward player I've ever seen.
Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:25 am
No way Cardinal is getting a charge against Wade.
Fri Jun 10, 2011 11:34 am
has Juwan howard always been a thug? or is he compensating for being old?

What the hell is Chalmers smoking? He's on fire from half court!

It's actually pretty easy. i do those in my driveway a lot.

Cardinal getting some minutes early. I like it.
@Wade: that's what you get for plowing into a guy who's made of concrete.

Gotta give the guy credit: Chalmers is awesome.

Edit: House isn't.
