I hear you, though I'd never give up on the Orange and blue I think would be more on board as a lot more people would be in trying to force Dolan out.
One of the guys from homeoftheknicks set up a website called Sell the knicks and had tshirts made up saying "Duck Folan" and even though he had a few thousand supports it was no where near enough to make any really noise.
The only real protest I think would make him take notice is if people stopped going to games.

That'll never happen....no matter how much the Knicks suck, they always make money. I read they're one of the richest franchises in the NBA - a cash cow. Shame on these dumbass "fans" who keep buying tickets for a shitty product.

Well that's the thing, I have being a knicks fan since 1992 and no matter how bad things have gotten the Garden ALWAYS sells out for ever game and as long as that happens and money is coming in Dolan is going no where.
A lot of the ticket problem is that with it being NY and a probably the biggest business city in the world company's want to take clients to the games so they pay top dollar for good season tickets year in year out which they never attend and they end up giving free tickets to employees so it's still a full house paid for.

Thing is, it's hard to sever ties and affiliations like that. Some people may just want to catch some NBA games live in Madison Square Garden. They're there for the players and coaches - and probably the opponents, in some cases - not to line Dolan's pockets. That's just an unfortunate side effect.

Could the Knicks succumb to Carmelo's wants and trade their pick for somebody like Bledsoe? Melo was outspoken about instant needs of improving a team even if it involved trading a pick.
The Knicks could look at a trade involving Eric Bledsoe and the No. 4 pick in the upcoming draft, according to ESPN's Chad Ford.
First and foremost, pump the brakes here because this is really just an idea and not a report. While the Suns are certainly looking to change their personnel after their three-PG lineup went up in flames, dumping Bledsoe would put them near tanking territory. Presumably, the Suns would want to take Kristaps Porzingis or maybe even D'Angelo Russell. Obviously a move for Bledsoe would hurt his fantasy value and he's not really a great offensive fit next to Carmelo Anthony anyway.

So that they could compete at mediocrity?
Would you want Russell/Mudiay or Bledsoe?
Sat Jun 20, 2015 5:37 pm
From what I saw the Bledsoe rumour was started only by a Suns fan asking on twitter if the Knicks would trade the 4th for Bled and the 13th pick so Chad asked the question on twitter which now seems to of turned into league rumour and has no legs.
For me if it was true I'd rather keep the 4th pick but I would cry about it if the trade happened.

The Knicks 2015-16 season officially begins tonight at 7pm. Now we find out how much of a genius Phil Jackson is. So far he's been nothing but a pompous windbag. Better hit a home run Phil, because you are on the clock! Quit running your mouth about LeBron James and the three-point shot - just fix this sorry-a** franchise.
Thu Jun 25, 2015 11:50 pm
So who's the guy they should pick? Assuming KAT and okafor are off the board?? Russel, porzingas, Mudlay??
Thu Jun 25, 2015 11:53 pm
Or they could trade the pick to the Bulls for Nazr Mohammed. It's what Isiah would've wanted.
Fri Jun 26, 2015 12:02 am
Given that Melo wants a winning team right away, I think there's good chance the Knicks will take a risk with the pick if not traded. Who's more NBA ready? I don't think it's going to be Portzinger for that reason.

Read it and weep, Andrew......
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baske ... -1.2267372Who do I want? Anyone but the Latvian kid or Mudiay.
Fri Jun 26, 2015 12:37 am
They should go with Russell
Fri Jun 26, 2015 1:26 am
If Russell falls to us or Okafor for that matter then that would be great but I don't see that happening.
I honestly see us trading down if the top 3 have being taken already.
Fans of other teams get such an easy ride in theses situations NY has a way of making everything into a drama
Fri Jun 26, 2015 9:28 am
That is tough. Do you reckon they would've made good use of the picks they gave away to the Bulls in the Eddy Curry trade? As it stands, the Bulls squandered the second pick in 2006, trading Aldridge for Thomas.

Jinxed it.

Isiah would have made a smarter pick.
This franchise is cursed.

Judging from the boos he got, Knicks fans don't think so.

Knicks lose Tim Hardaway Jr for Jerian Grant, sources say
Fri Jun 26, 2015 12:14 pm
I get the feeling the Knicks are trying to rebuild with Melo trying to win, not that he's good at it tho.
Fri Jun 26, 2015 3:30 pm
I seriously don't get this Porzingus pick neither. He has signs of bust all over his body. I highly believe he's a type of guy that looks better in work outs than actual games because of his shooting touch with set feet. But the real game's different. People thought Nik Stauskas was going to be a great player.
So Porzigs is a horrendously poor rebounder for his size, gets pushed around really bad, can't dribble more than twice, relies entirely on length on defense, has no iso game, has no post game, can't get to the line. But it's all shooting and game of catch and finish. He's largely a project, and his game has too many areas that need major improving. I don't think he was the best player avail at #4. Did Phil make this decision?
Fri Jun 26, 2015 3:30 pm
It's like drafting Gallo all over again, the unknown jump shooting big white euro guy...
I can see why people don't like the pick when Mudiay and Winslow are on the board, I am on he fence about him and shall wait to judge him in the summer league.
Fri Jun 26, 2015 3:33 pm
I actually wanna see who's tougher, Bargnani or Portznig
Fri Jun 26, 2015 3:36 pm
You mean who's calf's can hold out the longest?
