What was with Tyson Chandler tonight? It looked like he was going to murder Speights. Come on. Did he say Honey Nut cherries or cheerios or something.

Perhaps Tyson was still upset about Melo's D against Dork Nowuski's game winning shot from couple days ago.

LOL I am even pissed looking at Dirk's troll face.

Still, why take out frustration on poor kid who barely plays 10 mpg.

Did you even watch the game or just happened to catch this photo ? Melo played good defense there , i cant believe people fail to see it , just shows lack of understanding of the game from so many people.

Yeah it's definitely great defense to avoid the foul by not contesting the shot of a 7-foot shooter who's at his preferred shooting spot.

What I hated the most is Melo allowing Dirk to receive the ball so easily near freethrow line. If you're anything close to a decent defender, you body him up, distract passing lane, and push him out as far out as you can. Imagine LBJ or KD receiving at that exact same spot, it's non sense.

Second, what's with his stealing attempts? Meaningless, risky, and stupid. Either you go strong or don't risk getting called for silly fouls.

Then you entirely give up your life on defense and allow one of the best off-balance shooters in history to take a great look at the basket.

In my 40+ years of watching the Knicks, this is one of the worst seasons I've ever seen. These clowns don't even compete!

Things are going to get worse, because there are no smart basketball people running the show. Steve Mills and Allan Houston are nothing but Dolan yes-men. Whenever the front office gets someone competent, they get pushed out by this inept owner.

It's hopeless...

The loss was still fresh when Anthony went about describing the team’s steaming husk of a season.

“It’s embarrassing,” he said. “Teams win and teams lose, night in and night out, but just the way that we’re not approaching games from that standpoint with a winning attitude, with a winning mentality — it’s just not happening. I know I’m rambling now, but it’s frustrating. I don’t like to be embarrassed like that.”

The post-mortem featured the usual questions: How could they give up so many uncontested layups? How could they look so unprepared?

“At this point, there’s really no answers for it,” Anthony said.

“I don’t have the answers for it,” Tyson Chandler said.

“I wish I had the answers,” J. R. Smith said, “but I don’t.”

Lackluster effort again against the Detroit Pistons. Despite Tyson Chandler's decent numbers, it looks like Andre Drummond had his ways in the paint racking up 17 points 26 rebounds 3 blocks.

Not looking good at all for the Knicks atm.

Knicks keep sinking to new lows - giving up 51 points in the third quarter to a Laker team with a bunch of no-names.

I've had it with this group - they dogged it all year. Phil should back up the truck, dump them all(including Carmelo), and start over. Get some real players in here, cats with heart.

^I don't even care. I checked out weeks ago. These clown dogged it all season, and I'm supposed to do handstands because now they decide to play with effort? Unlike those delusional Knick fans on social media, I'm not excited over an 8th seed and a first round 4-1 loss to Miami.

Remember 1999? That's the only way the Knicks can turn this season around and definitely it's nearly impossible with the way they're playing.

They'll have to get their first. Once again, they're a game behind the Hawks for the eighth spot.

Thanks to the Atlanta Hawks for putting the Knicks out of their misery. This was one of the worst seasons in Knick history. LOL at these dumbass fans on social media who are mad at the Nets for not helping the Knicks out. They're mad at everyone but the Knicks, who were heartless and gutless most of the year.

For entertainment's sake, what bizarre rationale are they offering for the Nets having to help the Knicks out?

"The Nets tanked that game so they wouldn't face NY in the playoffs."

"The Knicks are the best team not to make the playoffs."

That's the kind of nonsense you see at the official Knicks Facebook page. I get slammed there all the time for telling it like I do here - I'm not a 'real fan'. Bunch of fucktards who don't know shit about basketball.

Wow. I mean, there's loving your favourite team and supporting them through thick and then, and then there's...whatever that is. I guess it's not altogether surprising - fanaticism can be blinding, after all - but considering the Knicks fans that go to the games don't seem shy about booing a poor performance, I'd have thought the prevailing attitude of the fanbase would be more critical.
