Well, he only played 24 minutes and missed all six of his shots with no free throw attempts. Pretty hard to score a basket that way. ;)

Pretty much inexcusable performance by Marbury. That played a big part in Miami's win. I think Eddie House might start soon, if Rondo doesn't come back. What a disappointment. ;(

It's a lousy offensive performance to be sure but it does happen. Tim Hardaway once went 0/18 in a game, which I believe still stands as the NBA record.

It's certainly a rarity, not only for a player to shoot that poorly but to get a chance to miss that many shots without making one. Rashard Lewis was 0/9 against the Bulls the other day, about the only negative for the Magic in that one.

Holy S#$@! F#$@ I missed this game!!! -_-

almost triple double 50 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists against the hottest team in the NBA. I sure hope these kind of games won't haunt him back later on. He sure seems healthy enuf to put up these great games at the moment. I really wish he will get better teammates like Paul Pierece did so he won't have to carry too much on his shoulder. Lebron also put up strong showings lately... damn... mvp is hard to win now days.

He sat for a lot of the game and never really got it going while he was in. It hard to get hot when you spend much of the second half on the bench. Even though they lost, I think the coach made the right desicion by sitting him a while. He's got to be dead tired and he needs to be healthy going into the main stretch.

i guess he was fatigued after the 3OT win over the Jazz...anyways best of luck for the next game...good to see O'neal putting some points on the board, second game in a row now with 20 points + (Y)

who cares about this game... we would beat philly like non factors in play offs,i understand coach decision about wade... as you guys said he is very tired,2ots vs chicago , 3vs jazz,5very tiring games in a row ,so i think everybody will understand why the coach decided to play like that.

I see that Wade has also become the Heat's all-time leading scorer in the triple overtime game against the Jazz, surpassing Alonzo Mourning. Certainly quite an accomplishment in only his sixth season (especially considering he's had a couple of years where he's missed a significant amount of games) and Zo was certainly very gracious about it.

They've been a bit ordinary without Garnett losing to a couple of teams that aren't doing as well as the Heat, so you never know.

The Celtics have lost back-to-back games to the Bucks and Bulls so it's certainly not inconceivable that they'd lose a third even at home; the Heat did prevail this time last week after all. They are at home this time whereas the aforementioned games were all on the road but still, they're looking pretty vunerable without KG who reportedly may not even be back by this Friday as was tentatively scheduled. I've actually picked the Heat to win in our Daily Predictions.

Of course, being that it's one of the few times I've picked against the Celtics this year we'll probably see Rondo break out with another triple double and Ray Allen set a three point record en route to a Boston win, because that's how it goes when I go out on a limb. ;)

That's also something the Heat have got going for them in this one, Boston coming off a disappointing loss yesterday and possibly being both physically and mentally fatigued. Anyway, tip off is in about half an hour so we'll see soon enough.

And of course, Wade is out for this one and the Celtics are up 19-10 through the first. Doesn't bode well for the prediction.
