Meh , they're starting to get their shit together again. I just wish they could have swept the Lakers like they did last year , or at least blown them out at MCI. That would have been a late Christmas gift.

That wont happen though with Caron defending Kobe like a matador.
Kobe's favorite player talks about Kobe
"I think he does what he has to do," San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili said. "Of course, there's a difference between 35 and 25 shots, but he's got that ability to make every shot. Even if it's in front of two guys he jumps so high on fadeaways it doesn't matter. He's got so many resources, it's easy for him to take 35 shots. If I was his teammate, I wouldn't care."

You and your defense are really starting to annoy me. Maybe you should sleep with the concept of defense itself???

If you love the art of defense so much you should stop your hatred of the Detroit Pistons. Their defense shut down LA fair and square in the finals :)

Besides my previous post, what kind of stupidity were you referring to?

He was big, he ran well and he didn't want to be touched. Some people mistook that for a KG clone.

And Kobe takes nearly 40 shots... someones got to step up. We need a no. 2 scorer! A reliable second option.

Blow me

You're so full of hot air, anymore blowing and that oversized head on your shoulders might just explode.

That's why i hate those fucking one hit wonders.

Say what you want, Detroit fucked LA in the ass, 4-1? Pathetic. One hit wonder or not, they were in the Finals once again whereas LA was not even in the playoffs. Respect the opponents bitch, don't downplay them. Cunts like yourself give LA fans a bad rep.

Even though it is too early to pass judgement on whether the Pistons are "one hit wonders" , it is probably safe to say that the Pistons definitely are not one-hit-wonders for sure. They almost won the NBA championship twice in a row and the year before they "swept LA in 5" , as many commonly put it. The Pistons in my eyes are not one hit wonders because "one hit wonders" imply that a team is good one year and then sucks the next. One hit wonders are teams like the Florida Marlins who win the world series one year , trade Derrek Lee , and next year miss the playoffs. They however do not include teams like Detroit which made the finals twice in the last 3 years , have consistently been in the playoffs the last couple of years , and are on the way to another playoff appearance barring a monumental collapse.

I wonder which team would be retarded enough to trade for Kwame these days? Looks like the Lakers are stuck with him.

The way things are going , where things get hot but eventually even out mean LA will probably end up at about .500 this year. Again I find it hilarious that the Clippers have more wins and less losses than the LA Lakers. Lakers fans must be going mad that the little brother in LA is doing better than them (that is , if they haven't hopped onto the Clippers wagon yet) ;)

The Clippers have been threatening to break out for years now. They build up these potentially great young teams and then randomly lose them all to free agency or dumb ass trades. The only difference now is that they've managed to hang onto a few of them and made a suprisingly great move picking up Cassell. Along with Brand's MVP-esque numbers.

I don't get why people think Laker fans dislike the Clippers? To me they are just another team who have the privelage of playing at the Staples Center, tis that simple.

The clippers had a very easy schedule in November. they started to suck agin in december. The clippers will never win anything because of Donald Sterling. The guy simply refuses to spend. Watch how in a few years the clips will be losing Shaun Livingston to free agency.

Are you sure you're even a laker fan? Yes, the true P&G fans strongly dislike the clippers. Those idiots that call themselves the clippers dont belong in our arena, they should go to anaheim or go back to buffalo. There's only 1 room for a team in staples, that team is the one sporting the great purple and gold. As far as im concerned, the banners on top of the staples center says a lot about our supremacy.
grow a dick jackal. you are a troll. go cheer for the heat of something stupid troll. you're just as disgusting as spurs fans in their natural habitat. ugh.

most teams that play in the same city, let alone share the same stadium, normally develop some kind rivalry. L.A. is a big sports city, i'd be surprised if there wasn't some kind of hate between fans/players of each team
