We never play good against Suns...at least we've beaten purs occasionally in past few seasons, but since Nash went to Suns, we just can't get a win (well yeah the 3 OT barely we pulled it out) against them. At least we can make it 6 game series instead of 4 in the first round, its not like we'll get past first this year...again

Melo is gonna lose his scoring crown to Kobe, but i dont mind i want him to be more like Lebron and not all scoring, next season i hope Melo's stats are something like

26ppg 7rpg 6apg 2spg

He is very capable of playing that type of ball.

Anyway we got the Suns today so we will see how good we can play against them, i would rather play the Spurs in the first round also, PHX and Dallas are just too good right now.

For those who say Suns are better offensively than Nuggets..that's not always the case. Nuggets are up 33 right now in 3rd quarter, shooting 69%. Melo and Ai have 52 pts together. I think the Nuggets have finally found their touch :)

Sun Mar 18, 2007 1:56 pm

WOW!!! I take my words back, we do match up better with Suns :) Up by 34 at the end of 3rd...Melo and AI truly showing theri Killa Duo!

Sun Mar 18, 2007 2:26 pm

Blowout victory over the SUNS!!! thats crazy!!! man something has definitely clicked with this team and im loving it right now, AI played probably his best game for the Nuggets

44 points, 15 assists, 5 rebounds 72% FG

Melo didnt do too shabby either

29 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists 65% FG

Good victory over a good team.

So Nuggets fans are Nuggets fans again?

What'd i tell ya's? We play better against Phx than we do the Spurs, we struggle to score against the Spurs, we can match Phx in offense and D.

EDIT: Shit, i stretched the whole page with the link to that game, so just go to that link and find the game down the page a little...

It was impressive, lets now hope it wasnt just a fluke.

Iverson needs to have more games like that!

Wed Mar 21, 2007 7:24 am

ok another big game today, and again on TNT. Nuggets havent won in NJ since 00, must win this one to stay in 6th place.

EDIT: We won! Almost let that one slip away at half time, lsoing by 7, but Nuggets rallied back, Anthony with a 30 point game, AI 20, Smith's return to NJ didn't go well, 0 points in 11 mins...

Wed Mar 21, 2007 2:05 pm

5 in a row. Good start on the roadtrip!

i removed my link to watch league pass games, because i don't want the site to get taken down, seeing the NBA etc. monitor sites like these, if anyone wants the link PM Me.

EDIT: Nuggets vs Bulls today and i'll be tuning in on NBA TV!!! :D :D

Fri Mar 23, 2007 11:22 am

Yup playin Bulls today to go for 6 in a row, close game so far in the second, Nuggets had a 6 point lead after 1st quarter.

Fri Mar 23, 2007 1:10 pm

Lost at the buzzer, damn! what a close game. Not a bad game overall but we had way too many turnovers, if we had cut them down we would of won comfortably probably.

Fri Mar 23, 2007 3:30 pm

We really miss Camby inside, some1 said he had back spasms, and it was obvious we'd be beaten on the boards, missing a piece = lost game, playing Raptors tomorrow.

Sat Mar 24, 2007 10:23 am

The Nuggets terrible in the first half against the Raptors, Kleiza seems to be the only one having a good game, having 14 points at the half, well maybe Blake too. The defense...um..72 points conceded in a half.

Sat Mar 24, 2007 11:38 am

Just shows...Camby is a HUGE part of our D! Najera gone hurts us because he has good hustle plays...

What a bad time for injuries

Sat Mar 24, 2007 2:27 pm

LOL at Nuggets perofrmance today. Well its not just Camby an Najera, when AI and Melo go for 14 and 10, no way we're gonna win even if kleiza and smith both nail 20.

Sat Mar 24, 2007 2:35 pm

What a terrible game prob our worst game of the season, Melo 10 points!!! wtf?

Sun Mar 25, 2007 9:57 am

Yeah it was shocking, lucky i didn't watch it, Melo & AI both struggled and Raptors couldn't miss...
A Must win tomorrow against Cavs.
And also it seems kobe is destined to win the scoring title, 4 50+ point games in a row, mean while Melo scores 10

Tue Mar 27, 2007 12:25 pm

Wow another crazy loss to Pistons..!
Can't believe rasheed made that prayer shot to force overtime...

Tue Mar 27, 2007 3:40 pm

What a shot. I can't believe it.

Tue Mar 27, 2007 4:21 pm

HAHAHA, I guess Rasheed's practice paid off.

Tue Mar 27, 2007 5:22 pm

damn...wow...shocking prayer shot, when i saw 1.5 left i was like pfft not gonna happen, then sheed releases it and im sayin, nah its not going in...wait o shit... :( And then we blew it in OT...2-3 on the road trip.

Tue Mar 27, 2007 7:03 pm

Damn! why the hell did Karl call a timeout??? we should of just played it out!, Anthony and Iverson were shut down put the rest of the team put up some good numbers, it was a fluke win and Im not too worried, Good to see Smith playing much better as of late.
