The subtext to Kobe's answer to if he'll be defending him:
"And risk my 10th All-Defensive First team selection? No thank you!"

Raymond Felton is going to turn me into a Seattle Kings fan...

lol at lakers needing the refs to win
plus mike brown saying something to kobe and kobe goes "fuck that"

The only team that really interests me that played today is the Utah Jazz (out of the teams that won anyway). It's good to see Gordon Hayward have a bigger role on the team. Still not entirely convinced about Kanter though (sorry Rudy).

Ben Wallace hits his seventh career three pointer.
Pistons looked like a good team in the fourth quarter. Wallace was playing like he was 26 again.

The Linsanity continues.

And the record for most games played by an undrafted player, post-merger. Not too shabby.

Two highlight plays already for the Bobcats! (Diop and that)

That's one of the most apt titles for a YouTube video that you'll ever see. I guess in all fairness, he did once play for the Clippers.

This Layup from Irving against LBJames was very optimistic- lol

Looking at the current standings, things are looking much more closer to our predictions than before.
Some fun things that I noticed:
- Denver gradually falling from the standings to 8th seed while the NYK being red hot climbing up to the 8th seed.
- Mavs and Lakers are starting to come together, now sitting at 4th and 5h respectively.
- Heat, Bulls, and Thunders are the top teams as many of us predicted.
- SAS is the hottest team in the NBA with 10 game winning streak and has league 4th best record, 22-9. But still they're regarded as 2nd tier conteders to many.
- Boston's days are finally done? 15-14 and can't see the room for big improvement.
- Portland sucks.

Yes, noone is talking about the Spurs in all that Linsanity. I hope they dont do the same like last year.

It happens every year.Us people here in San Antonio are use to it.

Even without Ginobii they are still one of the best in the league.
Chris Paul with the turnover and an assist on that play
Mon Feb 20, 2012 11:15 am
Paul has gone on record to say that's the worst play of his career. Pretty fair call, but stars are not immune to blunders. Tough break for him, clutch shooting from Neal.
Elsewhere, T-Mac is
frustrated with his playing time.
Tracy McGrady is frustrated with his disappearing reserve role.
“I’m tired of this [bleep],” McGrady said after logging just 4:39 during the 97-77 loss to the Blazers late Saturday. “You can put that in the paper, I don’t give a [bleep].”
McGrady said coach Larry Drew hasn’t offered him an explanation when he doesn’t play him many minutes.
“If you don’t feel I can help, come tell me that,” McGrady said. “He ain’t told me nothing. I just want to help these guys win, man, which I know I can. But, damn, four minutes?”
McGrady is eligible for a trade on March 1, but indicated he would prefer to remain with the Hawks.
“Hopefully, I’m here,” he said. “I like it here. I like the guys. That’s what I love most about it. I like the guys in this locker room. But at the same time, I still can play. No doubt in my mind.”
Probably not the best way to handle the situation, but I'd say he's got a point. If nothing else, it seems he's got enough left in the tank to be a good sixth man.

Overtime Thunder vs Nuggets.
Durant (45 pts, 8 reb), Westbrook (33 pts, 9 asts), Ibaka's got a triple-double (14pts, 12 reb, 10 blk).
Edit: What a finish.
Durant career high 51 pts. Westbrook 40 pts. Ibaka 14 pts, 15 reb, 11 blks.

First game with 2 players scoring 40 since Jordan and Pippen in 1996?
Mon Feb 20, 2012 2:04 pm
And Kendrick Perkins didn't get a single point.
Mon Feb 20, 2012 2:09 pm
When your main two guys score 91 between them you don't need much else.
First time in NBA history two players on a team scored 40+ points and another recorded a triple-double in the same game.
Mon Feb 20, 2012 2:19 pm
Awesome game.
On a similar note, the Thunder are undefeated when Kevin Durant scores 50.

*sigh* Denver lose another one and are currently out of the 8. Great game by OKC though, some incredible stats there.
At least the Lakers lost to the Suns

Edit: Nice to see Kobe get another double-double as well
